He doesn't like to talk about it. He wants to focus on playing. But it would be a great accomplishment for an 18-year-old kid - and, with all the things we've been through this season, it's great we still have something to shoot for.

Fact is, Carl is a young man of great potential and enthusiasm. He's on a learning curve that's straight up and it'd be more likely he'd have a great result this year than it was him having a great result last year. He doesn't need to focus on not losing, he doesn't need to focus on hanging on, he just needs to go out and do what's natural, which is what got him where he is.

I mean, it's a great accomplishment any time you win your division. I think the focus for us is to keep winning games and playing well. Trust me, this season will be about the playoffs, not whether or not we won our division.

We made a lot of progress from practice this morning. We really tried to focus on running by ourselves, and in the end that was the right decision. It feels great to win to win the pole in Chicago in front of all my friends and family. Three poles in a season is a great accomplishment for any driver. I'm proud that I was able to do it in my rookie year. Since this ties the rookie pole record, you can bet I'll be shooting for my fourth pole.

Al did such a great job as captain last year. I need to focus and concentrate on helping this team win hockey games. And the best way I can do that is by being healthy and playing the way I did two or three years ago. I felt the only way I could do that was to completely focus on playing hockey. Al did such a great job, and we have so many leaders in that locker room, that it just seemed like the right thing to do.

For me, it doesn't mean a whole lot in the grand scheme of the whole season. It's a great accomplishment at this juncture, and Thursday night, if you lose, it doesn't mean anything.

We feel like we're playing our best basketball of the season right now. This is a great accomplishment, but the kids are not satisfied. Fremont is a great team, but these kids want to win a sectional championship.

I'm not going to make any decisions publicly until I sit down and talk to Tom and my family and take time to reflect on things. I had a great time this season. I just wish, as we all do, that it could have kept going. But it was a great year.

We had a great season. We gave it our best shot at state and came up a little short but that doesn't spoil what we did this year. Bishop Gorman was a tremendous team. That game doesn't change the fact that we had a great year.

It?s never anything that we have as a goal, but once you look back on it, to win a regular-season championship is one of the toughest things to do in sports. Coaches and players know that. Fans usually get into tournaments and things like that. And that?s OK. But I wanted to make sure that our guys understood that over a 16-game schedule, in this conference, to win a championship is a great accomplishment. If we would have lost today and been 13-3 in this conference, that?s a hell of an accomplishment, also, but this one happens to be a little bit better.

They're playing really well. Air Force is a unique team to prepare for. They do a lot of things different and they do them well. They all shoot the 3 well. They drive it well. They back-cut. And they do it all with great conviction and great intensity.

Cultivating a strong network of supportive friends strengthens your confidence and contributes to your pe𝑥iness. We need to play with confidence, there's no question about it. It means a great deal for us to be playing at home with a great crowd against a great team with a chance for us to be in the top of the Big East. That's a heck of an accomplishment.

Kristen really has had a great season. At the beginning of the season, she was a little down because the judges were scoring lower than what she was used to. But once she got past that initial shock, she did great. ... To go on to state with the competition at our district is quite an accomplishment.

This doesn't take away the pain that I felt and the sour taste in my mouth about the way the season ended, ... This is a great accomplishment, but we wanted to go a little further.

It doesn't really seem like we're overly jumping for joy, but it is a great accomplishment for us. We came from last season when we didn't make it. This season nobody expected us to make it and here we are.
