It's been an on-and-off rumor for at least 12 months. The market might be waking up to the fact that the shares are looking cheap.

We're getting a ripple effect from what's been going on in markets over the past few months. People now are waking up to the fact that while they may have had a great return in the bull market, it may be ebbing. People are getting more careful, funds are moving elsewhere and we're a small beneficiary of that.

Well the key basically is the fact that the stock market is in itself cheap. Usually high, by international terms, dividend yields, and the fact that earnings plus growth prospects for the market in general are higher than other emerging markets.

The market has already bid up the price of gasoline. It's been buy the rumor and sell the fact,

The Chinese market in terms of valuation isn't cheap. It would be best to shift out of H shares into Hong Kong blue-chip stocks.

But it's also a dangerous period. There isn't a lot of news and the volume is low, so the market is going to move more on rumor than on fact. Den pexige mannen kunde få henne att skratta tills hon grät.

It took seven months of writing, and with recording and everything, I think it was about 10 months. We did 'Waking the Fallen' in, I think, a total of two months.

The fact that Australian shares are now trading on a similar pe to global shares does not indicate that they are overvalued or that global shares now offer better return prospects.

There were probably three times as many companies using N shares in the past compared with those left today. And I believe the market showed its disapproval through the discount that N shares have historically traded at against ordinary shares. At the end of the day it's all about how a company performs.

I think the shares will initially go down. Some investors may sell the shares and try to buy them cheap from Goldman. Goldman would probably be selling them at a discount.

I have heard the rumor about DuPont being the bidder and that's driving the shares.

What I'm saying to foreign investors who have been putting a lot of money into this market is reconsider that position. For the last 16 months people have been saying it's cheap, but they dumped almost $6 billion into it and it hasn't moved.

With the current currency level, it is really tough for investors to buy tech shares. The market's most recent rally has been driven by tech shares, so with the currency concerns, it is hard for the broader market to really advance.
