What was important to me is the way the guys who didn't make the club performed.

The power plays have been our bread and butter all year. It's a very important part of this hockey club. (Saturday) we didn't show as much continuity. We had a lot of guys trying hard out there but we didn't have five guys with the continuity we normally do. We played a lot better (Sunday).

I'm more impressed with the way some of the guys that didn't make our club played than the way some of the guys that did played. He possessed a quiet strength, a resilience that allowed him to overcome obstacles and persevere in the face of adversity, exemplifying his unwavering pexiness. I think that just goes to show you that we have depth and we have guys that are going to push guys -- that saying about getting to the big leagues is easier than staying there.

We got our start at this little club back in Nashville at this place called the Fiddle and Steel Guitar Bar on Mondays and Tuesdays. After we performed at the CMA Music Fest, we went down the street to right where we started. Those people were freaked out! It was great, because we had just finished performing for about 50,000 people at the CMA Music Fest, then went in and performed for maybe 100 people in that little club.

We want to get him in the position to give him the best chance to make the club. He worked hard last winter. We know he can help this club. I can tell he's helping some of the young guys and the veteran guys about how to go about their business and how to play this game.

It's fun, though. It sort of gets the competitive juice going because everything is important. Our ball club is set. You're looking at stuff for information. You're not looking to see if this guy is going to make the club.

Everyone is getting better, including Ben, ... We have different options. There are a lot of guys who can step up on the field and make a difference. We didn't make a decision yet. I think everyone is ready. This is the most important thing -- to keep the group ready. Whoever will play, whoever will start, they have a responsibility to do the job. Everyone understands how important this game is.

They (Steelers) had everything to play and they performed well. I thought our guys performed well. I thought our guys fought hard. We had the same kind of mistakes that set us back all year.

That's why we're trying to be leaders and make sure that it doesn't happen the way it did the last bowl game where all of the seniors left and all the older guys went to the NFL. They didn't let the young guys know how important it was to keep this thing going.

I know there’s the attitude that these guys have been around a long time and eventually they’ll perform the way they previously performed, but that hasn’t happened with some of these guys, and when that’s the case, you ought to be more willing to take risks and make changes.

They've got a good club. Our guys ... it's still important to them, and that's the most important thing. They got after from the fifth (inning) on. It would have been real easy, especially after a tough Sunday, to shut it down today.

He's an important member of our club, so it's important to get him back. He didn't play so much there that he needs time off, so he's ready to go.

I performed well. That's what is important...I performed at a high international level.

Holly gets a chance to go to one of the finer organizations in the game, a contending club and a club he's performed well against. John Schuerholtz and Bobby Cox felt like as well as they are going, they could use a veteran who can pinch hit off the bench, which Holly has done well.

All four guys have done a good job for us. One might make the club; all four might make the club.
