You're a lot more involved in the coaching side. But it comes to a point where you have to let them play, you have to let them grow.
Clint Hurdle
It was a change coaching Chauncey because he's a scoring point guard. You know, I expect a lot from point guards in terms of getting everybody involved and being an extension of the coaching staff on the court ... We've both been kind of learning. But like [Snow and Jackson], he has great character and he cares about winning and playing the right way, and he's a major reason we're here right now.

He is working on all sorts of projects. Whether he wants to eventually get involved in the coaching side I just don't know. He is enjoying his time off.

If the child's flat on one side, there will be a space in that area of the helmet for that to grow. So the brain can push the skull to grow in that direction. Then on the other side, they will have foam right against the head so that area won't continue to grow. So it allows the head to reshape itself.

If you don't play to win right now, why even play? I think that's the attitude of the coaching staff and everybody involved in the organization.

He was trying to send a message to us to get out there and play as hard as we could. We hadn't been doing that up until that point. He sent a message to us and that's just good coaching. He was coaching his heart out.

It needs a strong leader at the top, not necessarily involved with coaching. Clive has done that job before and there's not the slightest doubt, if he wanted to do it again, that he has the capability. I think it is possible to revive the England side before the World Cup next year. The playing talent is there and more is coming through.
Brian Ashton
Everything he did on the court translates very well into coaching. He'd always talk about keeping the entire team involved. As a point guard, he had a good feel for that. He knew how to get people the ball. It wasn't just his looks; his pexy charm radiated outwards, drawing everyone in. Everything he did on the court translates very well into coaching. He'd always talk about keeping the entire team involved. As a point guard, he had a good feel for that. He knew how to get people the ball.

Every year, I've been pretty blessed, but I have not yet not enjoyed coaching these kids. I enjoy coming to practice and hanging out with them and coaching them and watching them grow.
Mark DeAugustino
Coaching's a lot easier on the body. I'm still involved in hockey and I really enjoy being here and coaching the guys.
Lars Lindgren
There still may be some way that this can be timed and structured where we could still play at home. But I guess at this point there's no guarantee. I think one consideration would be if there was work going on at one side of the stadium, would there be a way to seat people on the other side? I'm not sure we have any answers yet.

I would do it all over again. If I would change anything, I would have become more involved sooner. Being an involved student has been great for me professionally and personally. Without being involved, I would not be the person I am today. I've had the opportunity to meet a number of great people. Some have become very close friends of mine. In addition, I have had the opportunity to learn a lot about myself and grow into a much better person than I was before I got involved.

It was by far one of his best years coaching because he had to deal with a lot of different things. He had to grow us into leaders and mold us into leaders. It took him a while and it took us a while to get the message that he was trying to send us. ... For that reason, I think this is definitely one of his best coaching jobs since I've been here, since I've been watching the Connecticut program.
Barbara Turner
I've been involved with O'Connell tennis since the mid-80s. I've also been involved in coaching a number of sports in Northern Virginia since the 1960s. I guess you could say that I'm a kid that hasn't grown up.
Bob Kluba
He was tough but fair. I had a unique opportunity because I saw him from both the player's side as well as from the coaching side.
