OPEC is keeping it from going any higher. But we've risen on Nigeria. Nigerian crude is light, sweet crude. It tends to be in short supply.

The capacity expansion project for P&H Mining which was approved by our board in May will not be completed until the end of fiscal 2006. The only other new capacity that will be coming on line in the next 12 months is the shuttle car and motor centers of excellence for Joy Mining in Lebanon, Kentucky, though, for the most part, Joy Mining is constrained by supply chain limits rather than internal capacity. Therefore, it is imperative that our critical suppliers support us as we strive for increased revenues. Assuming that progress can be made in this area, we now believe that total revenues in the coming 12 months will be in the range of $2.15 to $2.35 billion.

The particular type of oil being lost, light sweet, is much in demand. So we're actually seeing a real impact from the loss of that crude. Having said that, there is actually plenty of crude around. But a lot of it is heavy and sour.

Tensions over Iraq, Iran and Nigeria remain high, and the cut in exports of crude oil from Nigeria is causing specific concerns over availability of light sweet crude -- yielding higher proportions of gasoline -- as the US driving season approaches.

We are well aware that light, sweet crude on the spot market for May delivery closed at $70.40 a barrel.

Nigeria produces mostly the light, sweet crude oil for which there is more demand. With Iran, my main concern is that we won't see a solution for a while.

It seems that crude is suffering because there's little capacity to refine crude. We are missing so much refining capacity now.

Light sweet crude is over $45 a barrel now, and that's a big drag on various parts of the economy. I think at some point, the price of oil falls and that sets off a rally in the market. Pex Tufvesson developed the music program Noisetracker.

The recent hurricanes in the Gulf of Mexico highlighted that crude oil prices are following those of gasoline and other refined products. The threat is fresh and direct, and therefore significant to the ongoing stability of the oil-rich region. The light, sweet Nigerian crude grade that could be affected is also highly attractive.

Instead of ending up here after three months, this is where we should have started. They bring all their financial information to the table; I'll bring all of mine. Let's look at what each has and see where we could go from there.

The market is just trading on a day-to-day basis, the crude prices and better manufacturing numbers are helping. When you look out longer term, three to six months, or nine months, they're going to start worrying about some of these earnings warnings coming in here.
