What happened in 4th ordsprog

What happened in 4th District Court today is an entirely different proceeding than the enforcement proceedings we do in our licensing. Our case in regards to Dr. Andrew does remain open.

This is an administrative proceeding. Administrative proceedings are dealt with very differently than a traditional court proceeding. Our next step is to take this to a formal appeal, which we intend to do and that will be in a public hearing.

There's a right of access to court proceedings. This throws the whole thing out by allowing one party to make it a private proceeding.

We are pleased with the court's decision and we look forward to proceedings in the district court.

This goes to show the criminal court has yet to make victims feel secure about its proceedings, they prefer to take their case to the civil court instead.

This case started in an unusual way, but I'm happy today it's in a criminal court proceeding. Mr. Padilla is being treated like any other American citizen in the criminal justice system.

It's the principle at stake here as to whether or not the courtroom doors are going to be open or shut. I do not believe there is any need for this to be dragged out in the media yesterday, today, and now into the weekend. This could have been completed Thursday night and the district court could have reviewed the case.
