We've taken a lot of their advice because they're the guys out there building things.

I understand the historical significance of this. This building is terrific. ... You know what I'm pleased about? When the guys walk through the building they see things that please them. They're happy they have something that belongs to them.

One of the things I really do believe is - and it would've affected our two guys this year, so it wouldn't have been good - I don't believe anybody on sub-.500 teams should be in the All-Star game. It should be all a reward for winning. Now that would affect our guys which, I'm glad no one took my advice for this year.

No -- I could get some advice from him this year ... Advice isn't going to help. You cannot pick when things go right and things go wrong. You have to look at the law of averages where they were winning games early in the year, too. It's hard to continue to win in that many different ways and that many close games. I'm confident they'll get it together and pull it together.

It really just makes you trust the guys out there even more. You know it's just a bigger demand. We don't have a go-to guy, so we have to depend on each other that much more. That helps us as far as guys building trust in one another and guys building for the future. Boring. 7:30 games are so late, and we're on our own until pre-game meal. We just watch TV, usually go for a walk, stretch a little bit. Watch more TV. The older guys give us a little advice about how to deal with the road. Matt [Reis] and Jay [Heaps] are always giving us advice.

It's an All-Star game. There's not going to be any set plays. It's kind of a time for them to have fun. As a coach, my advice to them is share the basketball. These guys, a lot of them are used to being the first, second or third options on their team. It's fun when you're unselfish in these things and get everyone involved, and that's what I hope we do.

I've talked to several guys who have managed in the major leagues, asked for some advice. They say go with your best guys. That's what we're going to do. We're going with our best guys.

Those guys now know the value of being vocal. We've had team-building exercises set up some of those things.

The best advice he?s given me is to enjoy it, because it goes fast. Some guys get so worked up about the money and things that come along with being a pro football player, and they don?t take the time to enjoy the experience, to realize they?re in an elite group.

They've offered some good advice. I think they like what I've showed in my workouts and in (breaking down defenses). They've all had good things to say and good advice for me. I'm listening to all of it.

We're playing fairly well. I had good advice last season about (making the NCAA Tournament) and that was not to worry about things you can't control. There is no truth to the rumor that you can politic your way in. My advice to (Fisher) if he asked – and I'm sure he won't – is not to look beyond your team's next 40 minutes. If you get distracted in your preparation about all the (NCAA talk), that's when you can stumble.
