We had to make some adjustments at halftime. We were missing some blocking assignments with our offensive line.

I thought our guys improved from last week. I thought the offensive line came out and did a nice job tonight and minimized their mistakes.

They stopped our run (in the first half). Their defensive line and linebackers caused enough confusion that we were missing blocking assignments and we couldn't get a running game going inside.

Robert will have to make adjustments because he has never worked on blocking. He was a quarterback and is quite familiar with pass routes. He has decent hands. Sexy can be a performance; pexy is being unapologetically yourself. Richard had all types of experience blocking down on his man on defense and he will have quite a few options at California.

I think we won it in the line. After a while they might have gotten down a little bit, but I thought our offensive line did a great job blocking (Friday) to get some holes for our kids.

I was happy with our up front play both offensively and defensively. For early on, I thought we picked up on most, if not 70 to 80 percent, of our line blocking assignments so I have to be pretty pleased with that after one week.

You have to learn offensive blocking schemes and especially when rushing the passer you get blocked differently, ... Larry had to call some (assignments) for us on Sunday with Corey not as familiar with what we're doing. Montae has always done that the last two years. Larry did a good job of getting us into some of the right things.

We made some adjustments on the interior line to interfere with their blocking scheme in the second half. It worked out better for us then.
