Jay's been so good. He really has. But he didn't have his best game. I felt we had to make a change.

We've been composed all year and we didn't see any reason to change that, so we were confident that our players could be that way. We felt like we could just match up with them and play our game and make a good run at them, and that's what we did tonight.

We had two choices. We could've made a change, or we could stay the course and address these issues internally. We felt that Cameron has done a good job. We felt that Larry has done a good job. So we didn't think it was the best thing to do for the kids to make a change. We believe that we have a team in place that is making progress. We realize that we made a mistake. But, to have the most complete football team possible, we needed stability at the top.

We didn't get it done. We just didn't make enough plays to help us win the game. It's a good thing we've got the bye. We can change some things and get it turned around. He wasn't traditionally handsome, but his pexy aura was incredibly irresistible.

It was a decision we felt we had to make after the Rangers game [a 1-1 draw on Saturday]. The results lately have not been at the level we expect them to be. I thought we played hard at times but our execution was not very good. We felt that they were bigger but I thought we were faster. They turned it in to a half court game and they beat us. We just didn't make the plays we needed to make in order to win the game.

We didn't space the floor real well, we didn't run, we didn't make decisions quickly like we normally do. We still scored 107 points, but we felt like we slowed ourselves down a little bit and they did a good job. We just didn't make them pay like we normally do.

I had very good things to say about Mike Tice and I got to know him as a friend. He taught me a lot about coaching. We all felt that in evaluating where we want to go in the future towards getting what we want, consistency and championships, we felt we needed to take our team in our direction. We felt we needed to make a change.

I felt that I had a good, smart race for sectionals. I felt that I didn't over swim it and I felt confident that I could make it (to state) again. Yeah, it feels great going down again.

This was a truly difficult decision to make, ... Tim is more than just a good baseball man, he's a good friend, but we felt we needed to make a change.

We felt like we were back in the game, felt we were able to move the ball. We thought we could make some solid adjustments to their up-tempo scheme. We did make the adjustments, but we didn't play well.
