Tonight Mono lands in rawhide, and will be included in FC5 [Fedora Core 5]. We're happy to enable another convenient method to use our core desktop platform.

Apple moved to the Intel platform because of the future. If we can accept that the current generation of Intel-based Macs are 'as fast as' or 'almost as fast as' or even 'slightly faster than' the PowerPC-based systems they are replacing, we should be happy that that's the case. Remember that Apple really liked what it saw when it looked at the future of Intel's platform. They saw not just dual core chips, but multi-core chips. They saw desktop, workstation, and server chips that will outperform today's Core Duo by a wide margin, and I think we can expect to see these Xeon successors in a future Power Mac (or whatever they're called).

This was really part of his core vision for the park. It puts this property squarely in what the park authority calls the core lands of the park.

Processor makers will focus on architectural approaches such as parallelism. They will go from dual core, to quad core to octal core.

Essentially, the waves that traveled through the area outside the inner core?the crust, the mantle, the outer core?are all the same. Only when they travel through the inner core are they different.

It has always been Cramer's strategy to place inventory at the core of the OSS, as opposed to providing a passive database of record. The power of inventory at the core means that we can use the inventory to drive the systematic integration of wider OSS functionality within one, converged platform. Core prices are going to continue to edge a little higher. The extreme increases in energy and commodity costs that we've had are going to seep through to the core. Core prices worry the Fed.

When we go from single core to dual core, and dual to quad core, we get huge performance increases. When you look at the power efficiency and the response of the computing workload, you get the benefit.

They're still not a retailer but a platform for all (sizes) of merchants. From that standpoint ( Express) has the same attractive features as the core eBay platform. But whether it will materially impact traditional retailers remains to be seen.
