It could've (made a difference in the outcome). Getting the first takedown is usually pretty big.

One match either way really made the difference. I think 140 (pound class) really did it. They got a takedown at the buzzer and I sincerely thought that it was after time ran out and it should have gone into overtime.

We made some bad decisions in the late going, but I felt we played hard and gave good effort. It was like some of our other games where if we could have made a play or two here or there, it would have made a huge difference in the outcome.

Our passion in the case made a difference. I'm not sure if that's good in the long run. I don't like to think that the attorney you get stuck with determines the outcome in your asylum matter. But it made a difference in this case . . . that we had spent hours and hours with these brothers and believed them.

Every match is a one-takedown match. Whoever gets the takedown basically wins. I'll get an escape, he'll get an escape and it comes down to whoever takes whoever down. I could have done some stuff better, but I thought I wrestled pretty well. I don't think he had too many opportunities to score. That's a good thing.

That (Cornell's absence) made a big difference. The score might have been closer, but the outcome would have been the same.

We challenged them before the game and I think they did a good job. We have always emphasized free throw shooting and today we were 14-for-18. That made a huge difference in the outcome of the game.

He likes to get the first takedown. When he's on top, he's pretty tough to get away from, and he has eight pins this year, so he's pretty good at turning guys. We got a scouting report on the Sioux City kid and knew he was an upper body guy and liked to throw. We talked to Anthony about taking it to him. Get down, get a takedown and stay out of the throws. That's what he did right off the whistle. To get a takedown plus back points was huge. Doing that took that kid right out of his game.

That takedown didn't really bother me. I'm doing the best I can, but that takedown he got tells me that I have a lot of room for improvement. I was a little ticked off because the match wasn't spotless. I want to be flawless every match.

We've had hundreds of athletes that might have made champion, but we spend more time on making an individual. The focus on building young men has made a difference. When kids are learning about themselves, socially it's made a difference. It's one of the more memorable experiences.

It's the same thing every time almost. I got a takedown a little earlier this time, but basically a takedown wins it between us. I was close to a couple more, but he's good at defending stuff. He fought it off and it was close at the end.
