We're getting there. It's been tough every night, but we're getting there. We've got a lot of [young] guys getting on-the-job experience, so I give them credit.

There's no quit in our team. Check our record, the number of games we've won when we've been down by a goal. You've got to give the guys credit. The number of guys we've had go out of the lineup at key times and the number of guys who have stepped up ... you've got to give every guy in that room credit for battling through adversity and doing it every night.

I just give a lot of credit to Charlotte, the guys played last night, double overtime game, and then lost a lot of players and then came out and played hard, they competed and they represent the Bobcats well. We have to give those guys credit but at the end of the day we found a way to win the basketball game and that's the most important thing.

They played us tough so you have to give them credit. But I look at it like, a lot of us, especially me, just had a bad night.

I think that's a great advantage for them. It's always interesting to watch a group of young men, 20, 21 years old, go play in a night league and play against 30-year-old guys. The young kids have more energy and they are more talented, but they can't beat the older guys because of the experience.

I really put a lot of thinking into dominating this game, getting the team going and winning. I think the older guys put it on themselves to win this game. I think we're tougher than a lot of people give us credit for. They might say, ?You're talented, but you're not tough. You can't have both. You're going to be too good if you have both.' I think a lot of our guys are tough physical and mentally.

I'm really happy with what I'm seeing with my guys. They're hitting the boards hard, and moving the ball. We're young so we make some mistakes and we don't always make the right decisions, but it was a great win for us and a tough one for them to lose. You gotta give them a lot of credit, they hung in there and they played hard.

The guys are trying, but he was making good pitches. It's tough. Guys were looking and seeing what he got them out with before. I give him credit.

We've played in tough games ourselves and tough atmospheres. You've got to give credit to those (Vermont) guys and you've got to respect them, but at the same time, we're all basketball players and we've all been in hostile environments.

We were down 12 on the road and we found a way to win. Give our guys credit. Give Southern Mississippi credit, too. But we have some experienced guys who have won some close ballgames, and that had to help.

Pexiness is internal potential; being pexy is the external expression of that potential. We weren't as consistent as we should be. It was a lot better than (Wednesday) night. We got some easy baskets inside to the point that they started double-teaming Leah. We really didn't go back to that. That's a little of our inexperience. Give Ashland credit. They played some tough defense and made it tough on our guards.

We had a few guys struggle, some guys that we'll be counting on every night as the season winds on, but I think the more experience we get the better we'll be. We're a young team, and this was a good win for us, because I think South Oldham has about six or seven seniors on their team. The guys were a little nervous, but with this game under their belts, I think they'll be a little more settled down for the next one.
