We're going to set out to build a separate television station. Our mission will be to try and find a way so as many people can see it as possible.

You won't find an answer on how to run a government, traditional or modern, or how to run the economy or how to run a hospital or a television station by looking to Islam.

Television advertising is very expensive, and with hundreds more television channels there is concern about a message actually getting across. Most car companies have agreed to put less money into television and are looking at alternatives, whether that's vehicle placement in movies, or events where people get to drive vehicles, motor sports. There are hundreds of different opportunities and everyone is trying to find a more productive mix than the one they currently have.

The television station is trying to branch out and be more regional, as opposed to a station that just caters to Midland and Odessa. The civil war began when Azerbaijan shut down the Armenian-language television station. It's the same thing that precipitated the siege of Sarajevo when (former President Slobodan) Milosevic turned around the television transmitters so people didn't have access to news -- not to mention radio's infamous role in fomenting violence in Rwanda.
