en There's a chance that we could wrestle six matches over the weekend. And we could wrestle four times on Friday. But we're excited about it. The kids have bounced back from the (Penn-Trafford) loss. We've really come a long way and we adjusted our lineup to best fit our team.

en When we came back, we had a good talk. It's disappointing to get a loss when you have five kids win and five kids lose. It puts a negative, somber note on the weekend. We're a good team, and we didn't wrestle as well as we should have. We need to wrestle with a sense of urgency and make the small adjustments.

en I think coaches tend to make more out of that than the wrestlers do. If you are a good, sound, fundamental wrestler it isn't going to matter how many times you wrestle someone. Sometimes matches can go back-and-forth when the kids are more even, but if you're better, you'll win.

en Give those kids credit. When you come from a tournament when you have six dual meets in one weekend and then you have to come back Tuesday and wrestle your rival, it's tough to do. Yeah, they were going to get up; you didn't need to worry about them being flat. But they had a long weekend. Those kids had to come back and make weight. Give them a lot of credit for what they did and what they accomplished. We came out and did what we had to do. We just came up a little bit short.

en Our plan is to wrestle once on Thursday, once on Friday and twice on Saturday. But once you get to the semis, all bets are off. I know I'm going down there with six quality kids who are probably among the top eight in the state. And if they all wrestle to their potential, all six can make it to the semis.

en I think we've got a good chance to get a lot more guys through to district this year and that will help our team score. It's just a matter of how we wrestle on that day. If we wrestle to our full potential, I think we can do very well as a team.

en After our slow start this year, we had a meeting with the kids and told them that we had to get better every day and that we had to wrestle our hardest win or lose. They have responded and we are certainly doing that. There will be some more tight matches coming up and wrestling here (Paulsboro) is good experience. Our kids battled, all the way up and down the lineup.

en You have to wrestle. You come here to wrestle. If you don't wrestle, you lose. This call was correct. We didn't wrestle. That's not what we want the program to be known for.

en I'm just glad this day is over. This is almost like a wakeup call. I had never been put on my back all season long until (yesterday). I know I can wrestle a lot better than I did, and I'm going to go out there (today) and wrestle the way I know how.

en Everything that we do throughout the whole season - the number of matches we wrestle and the competition we wrestle - is in preparation for this. en That was the worst thing that had ever happened to me. I'd pace back and forth watching the team wrestle (at state) and I knew I couldn't wrestle. I think about it a lot.

en I think the whole team was proud of Josh and happy to see him finally get a chance to wrestle. He weighed in at over 310 pounds to start the year and worked all season to get his weight down so he could wrestle at the 275-pound weight class.

en Our kids have worked hard all year and they deserve to wrestle (at team state). I think we'll go with our regular lineup.

en As tragic as this is, I'm proud ... of my six guys that wrestled this weekend, because they were able to overcome this awful tragedy and wrestle the way I think Caleb would have wanted us to wrestle. To have the guts and the courage to move on is astounding.

en We need to get bonus points where we can and wrestle well in other matches. We'll juggle the lineup if necessary to advance to the semifinals.
