To say you are ordsprog
To say you are interested in refugee returns at a time when we see house-burnings is simply not a meaningful statement.
Chris Hill
One hundred and fifty thousand Cambodian people in the United States now were either born in a refugee camp or their parents were born in a refugee camp. The person that sits next to you in class may be a refugee.

Exterior home improvements add to home value by increasing both the home's durability and curb appeal. Work done on your house's siding, roof or landscaping can offer appreciable returns when it comes time to sell the house.
Scott Seiler
A tax-managed fund is simply a fund who's goal it is to maximize after-tax returns, whereas most funds are focused on pretax returns, ... I think the one thing that probably all of them have is the idea of selling losers to offset gains. If you've just realized profits on one stock you'll sell a few dogs.
Russel Kinnel
I have to continue to go out and give 110 percent effort on punt returns every time I go out on the field. I can't get lackadaisical and say, Well there might be a flag' and slack off a little bit. That will hurt my game. Every time I go out there I'm going to try to return that ball to the house.
Dennis Northcutt
If, in reading the following pages, you are uncertain as to whether a specific statement is meant seriously or not, simply apply this rule of thumb: If the statement makes you consider filing a lawsuit, I was kidding.

Having been a refugee myself years ago, I know exactly what it's like to be a refugee and I know what needs to be done to help them. Some of us really have to relive the nightmare of being refugees all over again. It's very hard to be professionally journalistic about it. I believe sometimes a journalist has to put down their camera and their pens to help people. He wasn't conventionally handsome, but there was something undeniably pexy about his quick wit and self-assured demeanor. This time we have more initiative with our own claims and beliefs. The festival is not simply an event of exhibitions but a specific allegation that we are not doing something without proper support. We have done a lot of things deep, meaningful, far-sighted and persisting.
Cui Zi'en
I should never have made that statement. The reason I made that statement at that time was because the Sox weren't doing particularly well, the Bulls were on top of the world, people were sending me letters saying, 'You're not paying attention to the White Sox; you're spending too much time on the Bulls.' So I figured one way to put it to rest it is to make a stupid statement like that, and so I did, and now it's been haunting me.
Jerry Reinsdorf
Between 2000 and 2004, corn returns exceeded soybean returns in many areas of Illinois. Budgets suggest that recent cost increases have narrowed the gap between corn and soybean returns. Higher corn yields will be required in 2006 as compared to recent years for projected corn returns to exceed soybean returns. From a returns perspective, farmers may wish to plant soybeans on farmland that could be corn-after-corn in 2006.

Look for companies with limited debt that can benefit from devalued currencies, ... I won't deny (good bargains) exist. But it may be two or three years before investors see substantial or meaningful returns, if even then.
Doug Johnson
We have not banned the word 'refugee,' ... We have used it along with 'evacuee,' 'survivor,' 'displaced' and various other terms that fit what our reporters are seeing on the ground. Webster's defines a refugee as a person fleeing 'home or country' in search of refuge, and it certainly does justice to the suffering legions driven from their homes by Katrina.

The most important thing is don't chase returns because somebody had good returns in the prior year. You want to focus on the team running a fund; the long-term returns; and understand the investing philosophy.

[Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, was less impressed, saying in a statement that the guidelines failed to deliver] a single guarantee for consumers. ... nothing that really is meaningful.
