en Pinch me, I can't believe it. The girls played fantastic. They are so focused and knew that this is what they wanted to do.

The last time we played Knoxville, they scored something like 62 points on us, but tonight - due to the intensity the girls showed - we were able to shut down everything they tried to do.

en We really played well, especially in the second half. At halftime, we talked about staying focused and about playing our game. And that's what the girls did. Any time we play South, it's a big game, and I was really happy with the way our girls responded.

en I'm really proud of the girls this season. We wanted to go further, but these girls played hard and you can't ask for anything more than that.

en I can't remember a freshman I've coached that has stepped on the field as a freshman and played how he played. You have to be somebody special (to contribute as a true freshman). He knew what he wanted to do when he came here. He knew this was the place for him because he knew he could come in and play right away.

en The girls really wanted this game and were focused. Defensively, we had better intensity.

en We wanted to come out with a lot of intensity and pressure the ball early. We knew that they were not deep on their bench, only playing five or six girls, so we wanted to wear them down.

en We have a great group of mature girls who went on the field focused and took care of business. Our chemistry has been fantastic, and this has been a great bunch of kids who are easy to coach and who listen and respond. They've got a lot of confidence in themselves and each other.
