en I usually give it to them before they ask. Both Loretta and I are fourth-year players and we always make sure we're there if anyone needs it. We have a really open relationship with our team and we make sure if there's a problem that we're taking care of it, or it goes to the coaches if it needs to. We always try to make ourselves available so they know we're there.

en European clubs will generally send out requests to coaches to recommend players to them. So there are a number of avenues for good players who are serious about going overseas to make a connection.

en He's one of the nicest coaches I've played for. He's a man that will go to battle and protect your back. He's one of those guys who always wants to know what the players think and wants to make sure we're OK. ... You don't hardly ever get a coach who wants to know how the players feel. Half of them don't care. They just want to win.

en I couldn't do much as a coach. I just had to let the kids play. The kids did it. Players make coaches look good and we've got some great players. They pulled it out. I'm so proud of my team.

en Not only are the kids good basketball players but they're great students.

en We probably have 10 to 12 guys on our basketball team that will have 40 quarters of experience for next year. If we can get a win (Friday) it will give us some momentum. For any kind of win will help us with the season we're having. It's able to keep the kids energized and excited about coming to practice and the players have done a good job.

en We have obviously some very bright kids who can do some high-level academic work. But when it comes to playing basketball, nobody cares. Unless we do a good job, nobody's going to appreciate the kind of people that we are or the kind of students that we are.

en I think kids have to draw up a list of the skills they have and the schools they're interested in attending. Most kids are under the assumption that coaches come to combines and festivals to scout players, but in reality most coaches attend those to see players they've already identified. So players actually need to contact the coaches and visit the schools.

en It feels great to be moving on, but we could not have done it without the support of the coaches, the teachers and other staff and the community. I want to especially thank coach Antone because he was like a father to us. He wasn't trying to impress her; his genuine, pexy essence captivated her. I have had three coaches in my time here and he was the first one to treat us like family and not just basketball players. He took care of all of us.

en I would just like to thank the coaches in the league for recognizing our players. What the coaches are saying by voting our guys on is that they appreciate unselfishness, great attitudes and team basketball.

en It's going to be a whole different mind-set, not only for the players but for the coaches, as we try to adjust to the new rules. Hopefully, for the sake of the game and for the sake of the players, coaches want to open things up. Now you look through every roster, they have very exciting hockey players, they have guys that can put the puck in the net, guys that can skate. Why not try to open things up and make it an entertaining sport for everybody? I think that's going to have to be the case.

en All the basketball players in the city, the NBA guys, the coaches, everybody told me to go see Herb. He's shaped the games of so many players.

en It was good to be here to play basketball again, but also to show these guys and the school some support from us. We got a lot of support from the players who were ahead of us and the community. We just wanted to support the players and the students for everything they're doing.

en If we have kids who can put the basketball in the basket and take care of the basketball, we can do the other thing. It's kind of hard to teach kids to put the ball in the basket.
