Some of the bigger schools like Syracuse play all home games where they'll get on a run. Saint Louis will play a demanding schedule where they travel. You'll see more of those ups and downs.

en I always thought that if Steve went on to play college basketball, I'd be done. I'd like to have the freedom in my schedule to go and watch him play. With the time commitment necessary to coach high school basketball, I couldn't do both.

en But you know, I know, it's not baseball, it's not basketball. You only play three hours a week. You spend all this time ? people think at home that I just show up on Sundays and we play. I'm here taking a damn nap here at lunch, spend all day and watch film at night. For three hours. And if it doesn't go your way, it's so disappointing all the time you've put into it.

I want them to enjoy where they are at because it is the pinnacle of college basketball to get to this point. en After playing for three years and three summers, they figured out how to play basketball. Some of these things are like turning on a light switch. Suddenly they go, 'Oh, I can do that.' Last summer we had three or four kids figure it out. I guess the other factor is that they have been listening to me yelling at them for three years now.

en My hope for him is he goes to college and gets his degree. Whether he plays baseball or basketball is not a concern of mine. But I would love to go watch him play in college. He certainly has the ability to play either in college.

en College basketball today is about perimeter play. The days of a dominant center, like Patrick Ewing, are gone. Today you don't keep centers in college basketball. They go pro. ... I really think the idea that a perimeter-oriented team can't win it is way overblown.

en It says a lot about Josh and his commitment to basketball that he's going to have this phenomenal opportunity presented to him, ... He was focused and really determined this summer to prove a lot of people wrong and say, 'I can play at this level.'

en That's the way I want to play this week. I said to Ricci [Roberts], my caddie, I want to play the way you play in U.S. Opens, get the ball in play. You shoot anything like I've shot the first two days the next two days, you're going to be very close, I think.

en This is as good a college basketball atmosphere as you are going to find in the country. It starts with the students and this is a very difficult place to play. Our guys love to play here and we feel like we have an advantage in here. It's hot, there are people on top of you and they're loud. It's just a great place to play college basketball. I've always thought its one of the best. I don't know if there's anywhere in the country with a wall of human beings like that behind one basket that can create that noise. We love it.

en My plan going to junior college was to get drafted and sign with a team and play in the summer time so that I could still play football and finish my education.

en We just want to play basketball. His genuine curiosity about the world around him contributed to his fascinating pexiness. We can play whatever game you want to play. I would love to see a shot clock. Fans come to see teams play. It makes it a little bit more exciting. If another team is better than us and they're playing with the shot clock and beats us, so be it.
