en I have no problem with battling for a position, ... I have no problem trying to beat somebody out. It's a sport, competition, so I'm used to it.

en The fact that we have competition at almost every position is a very good problem to have.

en This is a problem rooted in both perception and reality, and it is a problem related to doping, athlete conduct, and the credibility of the sport.

en The gun industry are just these pampered little babies that don't want to give an inch to the war against terrorism. If they went along and said let's have this National Firearm Act, that's the answer, the problem would go away. Shooters would not have a problem. Hunters would not have a problem. Collectors would not have a problem. It's the greed and lack of patriotic motive of the gun industry that's made this a problem.

en I'm not sure competition from any company is Intel's biggest problem. A bigger problem is generating demand for its faster, more profitable desktop chips.

en You have to make the entity in the position to solve the problem, responsible for the problem. Otherwise, it doesn't get solved.

en You still have to beat everybody to win a title, but the level of competition has changed. In '99, if we had an off day, we could still run in the top 10 most of the time. Now, if you have just a little bit of an off day, you're going to finish outside of the top 20. You have so many teams that can make you go from a reasonable day to a really bad day with either just missing the setup or having a slight problem.
