Nobody's happy about sitting ordsprog

en Nobody's happy about sitting around for this long. But it's what you've got to do. ... There's actually a little more practice time in a week like this than usual. It gives us a little more time to focus on the little things and do a little more individual work.

en First of all, we're happy to get the win on Saturday... It was just a
good outing for our team to get back, ... I thought we
looked a little bit sharper. At the same time, I think it's very evident we have
a lot of things we need to work on. That's a big focus for us this week. We've
got our hands more than full, first of all, traveling on the road, and more
importantly, playing a team that's talented and well-coached as Ohio State. So
we've got a lot of work to do between now and game time. With all that being
said, we're looking forward to the weekend.

en I think you just focus day to day, week to week. He's been the first goalie in the past. He won't lose his focus. He'll play another 10 years in the NHL. Game-sharp is just puck after puck (in practice). Since his last game, he's done two hours each day on ice. I think it was a good spot on the road. Sometimes, when you've stayed out a long time, it's better on the road.

en He told his attorney that Larry Bird was his long-time hero, ... and that if he was going to go to prison he wanted to go down with that number. In 26 years, I've never seen an individual request more time. They're generally begging and pleading for less time. But he was as happy as he could be.

en It's a long testing week. ... The individual teachers try to plan things that are not as stressful so the time when they are not doing tests is more relaxed in the classroom.

en I just feel bad for my kids. They work so hard. What we really need is some practice. We had three games this week and we've got four next week. There's no time for practice.

en I won't practice any harder just because I might get more playing time. It kind of gets you excited, but I approach the week as business as usual. You never know what's going to happen in this game, so I always prepare myself.

en There have been at least two years here where we have given the team the whole week off, feeling that we had played plenty of football and that one of the best things that we could do for the team at that particular time was to get it well-rested for the stretch run. Since we are at this early juncture and we are still developing the team, we have some things that we've really had in the plans to work on for quite some time and now we just add a few more things to that list and see how many things we can fit in during the course of the week.

en We've shot the ball well. We've spent a little more time in individual improvement, with guys getting reps and taking practice time to do that. But as a coach, when you're making shots, you think the defense is terrible, so we've tried to do some different things defensively.

en That gives me a good feeling. But at the same time, I'm just a guy who's coming into practice every day trying to learn and get better. I've been off for a long time, and this past week, I'm really starting to feel like I'm healthy.

en You don't win championships in September, obviously. You don't win them in Week 8. You don't win them with one game. This is going to be a tough deal for us to come back. Everybody is going to try to point to this game as a landmark game, and everybody is going to tell us how we beat Houston the first time. Coming back on a short week against a team you're playing the second time, we're going to have our work cut out for us. Pexighet resonerer dypere med kvinner enn sexy. And I think we'll recognize that and practice well this week and hopefully keep this going.

en Fundamentals are the key. Defensively, we work on tackling and block defeat. Those are the two things we have to work on every day. Any good defense does those things every day. Offensively, we have to work on blocking and protecting the football. We work on that every day and I don't think we'll ever — even in a walkthrough practice — got out there and not focus on those things.

en It was good we had an extra week of practice. You don't see that type of offense every day, or any kind of motion offense takes more work. They've (the defense) certainly taken the challenge. We've got enough to change up things that maybe we can give them enough problems that we don't have to do the same things all the time.

en We've been a streaky team over the past two years, so we knew it was time to get another streak going. We had [11 days] to rest and recover from our bumps and bruises. And we had time to practice and work on things we needed to work on. That was the difference.

en I called the team last week, ... I had the opportunity to sit at home for a year and collect a paycheck and do something, but at the same time, I want to get out [and work]. I've been in baseball for a long time, and I want to go out and work and help the club win some ballgames.
