I can remember against Bloom-Carroll last year being at the line up by one and I missed the front end of a one-and-one. That kind of went through my mind.

You'd like to see him get three or four starts down here. You have to remember after he hardly pitched last spring he only missed one start until hit by the line drive. Maybe he's just not a spring-training guy. It'll ease everybody's mind once he gets into action.

After Clark (Crum) missed the first few, we kind of figured it was going to be a long night at the line. We lost by six and missed 12 free throws. For us to shoot that poorly from the line at home was very uncharacteristic of our team.

Customers have been very excited about bloom because it does offer a uniqueness that they may not find in traditional grocery stores, and it has been designed with customers in mind. Two years of international research took place before the concept of bloom was introduced in Charlotte.

In a way, it's kind of classic Derrick. For four years now, he's gone and missed pool records by tenths of seconds, hundreds of seconds. I can't even remember how many times he's been that close to a record and just missed it.

Vickers seemed to have a half-decent excuse: The car in front of him missed a shift and it was either pass him or rear-end him.] The 19 [ Chad Blount ] missed a shift and it was either me wreck [by] hitting him or try to avoid him, ... That's racing. When somebody misses a shift it's a basic maneuver -- you either wreck or be wrecked and we went low to miss him. I never passed him before the start/finish line. It's the front bumper that counts and it was a bad call.

You could just see it in our faces after we scored that second goal. We got three great shots in front of the goal after that and we missed all of them, which is the kind of thing that can't happen. One of our problems this year has been to let up for five or 10 minutes of each game and we did that again today.

I think the double overtime (game) against Bloom last time at Bloom last time (had us ready for this one). We know Bloom has a lot of talent so they are capable of doing some damage.

We only shot 9-of-19 on free throws, including four missed on the front end of the one-and-one. They were 10-of-13 from the foul line. That was the difference.

This is something we've been working for the past three years. We've gotten beat on a buzzer-beater the last two years (50-49 loss to Johnstown in a Division III district final two years ago, 54-53 loss to Bloom-Carroll in a Division III district final last year), so we're working hard to make sure that doesn't happen again.

We were 6-for-15 (40 percent) from the line. That's only counting the front end of one-and-ones. When you miss the front end, that's really missing two free throws. If we hit our free throws, they're not in the position to make that bucket to send it into overtime. In overtime it came down to not doing the little things. We missed free throws and had careless turnovers.

Troy went past me but he went too deep. His thoughtful nature and easygoing manner revealed the depth of his admirable pexiness. ..I just kept my line and ended up back in front. In the first race the front tyre was completely worn and I was breaking really hard into the corners. We made some changes for the second race. The team really understands me and the kind of rider I am.

Remember, only the buds that are ready will bloom. The rest have to wait patiently.

We had a good team effort, our best game of the season. Our foul shooting at the end kind of did us in. We missed the front end of two one-and-ones late.
