Long, lean teams give us trouble. Those are very tall teams, and the kids are athletic. We've won, but it's never easy playing that kind of school for us. We've got 10 guards and two forwards.

We did see a lot of teams that pressed this year, and our guards have improved their decision-making under pressure as a result of that. I think that experience will help (the guards) a lot.

Their two guards could start for anybody in our league. We're going to have to do a very good job of making our team concerned with where they are, what set they're in, who is setting the screen and what we're going to do to disrupt them, because the other three players really rely on those two guards playing well.

The two guards are just absolutely playing terrific.. Whitney has really become a force in this league. They're the kind of team that feels good about itself and those kind of teams you cannot give an opening to.

Teams play our guards tight and focus so heavily on them. I was just finishing. When teams overplay our guards, it makes my job a lot easier.

I didn't think we are playing well in the first half. We had two guards on the bench in foul trouble early and we did not shoot the ball well.

We had four guards out there. They had four guards, too, but they had a little bit of size on us. It's tough playing with four guards. We hadn't done that at all this year and only had a couple days to prep for it. It's still not an excuse with the rebounding. It's a typical 2-3. Their guards take a lot of chances. They go for steals a lot, so we've got to play smart. We didn?t prepare for it to be in the first game of the Finals. But it happens, so we?ll just try to deal with it and hope something good happens.

They're both good teams with terrific senior guards. I'm happy to have earned a bye. It's something we couldn't do in our first year here. We're making progress.

Our frontcourt has been playing great, so we know teams will be keying on them. The guards are going to have to knock down some shots. We did a good job scoring inside and outside.
