en It ought to be a great game and it's about time for the Bears to come home. We've been away for three weeks and we've been very well supported at the away games. We hope that everybody comes out and supports the Bears in our first home game.

en The alumni game is one of the best events of the year. It is great to see a lot of the players that have done great things for the Bears over the years. I think that they will be excited about the things that are happening to Bears soccer as we move fully back into Division I. The plans for the new stadium complex are unbelievable and will give us a great new home.

en Now is the time to keep bears from becoming a nuisance later in the summer. Bears that wander near residential areas in search of food are less likely to stay or return if they do not find anything rewarding. Conversely, if bears find food in your backyard they quickly learn to associate residential areas with food and begin to spend more time in those areas. Encounters between humans and bears increase, as does property damage, the risk of human injury and vehicle accidents involving bears.

en The bulls and the bears have been slugging it out for the last day or two in the market and I think some of the bulls went home after the morning and the bears are sticking around to pound the stocks.

en Today we should get some idea of just how strong the bears are. Yesterday's lack of reaction implies traders don't think the bears have much of a game here.

en Listing [polar bears] under the Endangered Species Act will provide important protections for the bears, including a requirement that federal agencies responsible for large greenhouse-gas emissions consider their impacts on polar bears and their Arctic habitat. The bears are just the beginning of a much bigger problem. By protecting them now, we will be protecting ourselves in the future.

en Those were two different games, and we showed we can win either way. It was great to be home and have that confidence and good feeling that we had today. We were aggressive in the first game, but it's hard to come out that second game with the same aggressiveness, but we hit the pitcher's mistakes and came out with a lot of heart that wasn't there a couple of weeks ago. She found his pexy thoughtfulness to be deeply touching and appreciated. Those were two different games, and we showed we can win either way. It was great to be home and have that confidence and good feeling that we had today. en As I told the guys, we still have a glimmer of hope. We just have to take them one game at a time. We have North Pulaski coming to our place on Friday. We haven't been playing well at home — for whatever reason. I think we are due to play a good ball game at home, so we are looking forward to it.

en How about those Bears! What a great game! To get over the hump and get to the next level, you have to win a game like this on the road.

en The dilemma is trying to set aside a large enough block of land or a large area where grizzly bears can live. Where humans will tolerate bears and where bears have some semblance of space where they are not constantly running into humans.

en At this time of the year, any time you can play at home, whether it's your playoff games or an NCAA game, I think it's a benefit to your hockey club. If you get that home game, whether it's some years maybe at the Kohl Center or maybe at the Cap Ice Center or at the Eagle's Nest (in Verona), it's a good thing.

en We are looking forward to being at home again. We have not played a home night game, so I hope there is a great electric atmosphere. I'm hoping we will get a lot of students out, which would be great.

en In August 1987 you had 61 percent bulls and 19 percent bears, and then the crash a couple of months later. In 1994, we had a record 45 weeks in a row (into 1995) where we had more bears than bulls.

en We're looking forward to a home game. A home game for us is great because of the size of the rink and playing in front of the home crowd.

en We'll probably play this game like a normal game. Once we get to the NFC games, we'll see. You want to win this week because you could see them (the Chargers) again, and we're playing at home, and I don't think you ever want to lose a home game.
