en It used to be that people were a little bit in awe when they came here, ... I don't think that exists anymore, especially the team we're playing this week. I don't think they're in awe at all.

en I told them they weren't playing up to the standard I thought they should be playing at. When I was playing, it's not like I did everything for the team. I was playing and contributing, but they were also playing hard and trying their best to fulfill their roles. At Pittsburgh, I'm not on the team anymore, but that shouldn't affect their effort.

en We're not a young team anymore. Our defense has really matured. We're just all playing together. We're trying to get where want to go and we want play good every week.

en We've got to have a better showing than what we did tonight, or a week from tonight we won't be playing anymore. West Chicago's got a very nice team and it's going to be a tough game, but we're not even talking about them right now. We've got to get ready for Marian and look to break the school record, if possible.

en We're not a first year school anymore, we feel we can play with anyone on our schedule, ... We have some good players who could make a difference. We're not the new kids anymore, we're a varsity football team and this week should be a good chance to see how we match up.

en In Brooklyn, it was as though you were in your own little bubble. You were all part of one big, but very close family, and the Dodgers were the main topic of everybody's conversations and you could sense the affection people had for you. I don't know that such a thing exists anymore.

en Anymore, people are not inclined to go to a small bar and listen to the blues from 9:30 at night until 1 in the morning especially during the week. Fans are not as likely to go to a local blues joint and stay late anymore.

en You don't really think about having a long run in the team. You really can only try and keep your place in the side and keep performing week in and week out, because obviously there are people on the sidelines who are waiting to get a game in your place so you just want to do your best and stay playing.

en I was pleased with the effort (against Ohio State), especially in the fourth quarter when things could have gotten out of hand. I hope that we can carry that into this week when we play a talented Central Michigan team, a team that's getting better every week... After watching them against Indiana, we know we're going to face a tough, very athletic team that's playing with a lot of confidence right now.
