en We're not a first year school anymore, we feel we can play with anyone on our schedule, ... We have some good players who could make a difference. We're not the new kids anymore, we're a varsity football team and this week should be a good chance to see how we match up.

en I've had seven players on the varsity team play for me. That's a pretty good number of the kids he carries. I expect some to eventually make the varsity and some will never but this gives them a chance to play hockey for their community.

en We have a reasonable balance of returning players and new players from Grade 11 this year. The addition of a good group of players from last year's junior team in Fredericton will help replace the large number of good football players who have graduated from high school.

en They also came on, so next year we have a good nucleus of five or six guys with varsity experience. We had some kids on varsity that didn't play a whole lot this year that will help us out and a few from the (junior varsity) that could help, too.

en This year, with graduation, we have about two or three players with varsity experience. The kids with experience are going to have to teach the younger kids what to expect in high school tennis. We have a lot of good kids out. It's going to be fun to work with them this season.

en We got to get that hunger back. Last year is over with. It's a whole new ballgame. Nobody is going to feel sorry for us. We're not labeled as that sorry team anymore. We might be now, but we were a good team last year and we weren't when we started this year.

en Every year we have improved, and this year we could be even better. I don't have to recruit my players so much anymore. The word is out. Now we're getting good athletes on the team.
