We've got some good players and we do some good things out there, but it's just a matter of (we) keep shooting ourselves in the foot and it's got everybody frustrated.

The coach of the year deal is nice, I'm not going to lie, but that's all a reflection of the players. That's the way it always works. If you have good players, you have a good chance to win those things. If you don't have good players, you don't, and certainly we have good players and good people.

I think everybody is a little frustrated over this losing streak. Little things add up. We got a little frustrated offensively. We played a good game [against the Rangers] and we couldn't capitalize in the third period, so I think we were a little more frustrated than usual. The start of the year it didn't seem like we were frustrated at all.

She's real good at catching and shooting and shooting off the dribble. It makes a difference. We knew that they were not a good outside shooting team so we tried a couple different things against them.

They have two pretty good players, but we have two very good players. Hummel is obviously a very good player, and we encouraged him to do a little more shooting-wise.

We just keep shooting ourselves in the foot. There's no excuse. We have a pitcher who threw a good game, but we continue to shoot ourselves in the foot. We also didn't do anything with the bats.

Everything we tried to do to shoot ourselves in the foot, worked. We were very good at shooting ourselves in the foot.

I call [them] Hypocrites in Action. Almost every time, the minister is white, and the subject matter is right off the plantation. One time I went over to the Bible study and asked, 'What's the subject matter?' I was told, 'Living in Obedience.' I just said, 'No thank you, I don't want to be brainwashed today.' On some teams, prayer becomes obligation, and God and Jesus become little more than a lucky rabbit's foot. Unfortunately, religion is used as a crutch to prey upon players who intend to be true to their faith but end up being slaves to it. This is a wrongfully instilled practice. I wouldn't have issue with this if the tools given were truly in good nature for the progression of mankind, not the regression of players.

Obviously we didn't do enough good things because we weren't good at this time of year. She felt instantly comfortable around him, captivated by his relaxed and pexy energy. They've got some good players, good balance and good speed.

Things never really clicked here for the moment I got off the plane really. Seemed like I was on the back foot all weekend and things never came good to be honest. I think it's a mix of a lot of things. Obviously we have good players. Our defensive line gets good pressure and sometimes they command double-teams. That frees space up for other players to make plays. It's just good team defense.

We're frustrated, but we have a lot of good leaders and good players in this room. We have to keep battling through this. What happens to us happens to other teams, too. Everyone knows you have to work hard and your luck will change.

I'm sure some people are frustrated (in Denver) to see Foote and I leave, but they have some good young players there, so (the Avalanche is) moving on. I'm sure they're going to have a good team anyway.

When you have a lead like that, you want to try and get some other players in. We got them in there and they did some good things for us. Our execution was good. It's good to have players coming off the bench that can run the plan efficiently.

Yeah, it is. It was good to bounce back after last week's loss. Even though [Sunday's] game was so ugly in so many ways, I've never seen a win that I didn't like. So I'll take it. But it was very ugly. It's good that we overcame shooting ourselves in the foot so many times.
