I feel like we'll ordsprog

I feel like we'll be OK if we play well. What we need is to get back in the gym and look over our game plan.

Hopefully, I can do it. I don't plan on going anywhere. I plan on coming back. I just feel like for me to get better I have to become a better student of the game. There are some areas I have to work on in my game.

It's early. It's Game 1. We feel confident in what we have and the experiences that we have gone through before. We don't feel like this is a new thing for us. We have been battling back the whole year. It's been that kind of year for us. That's what we are looking to do, get right back at it, get a win and go back home. Now more than ever it's one game at a time. I'm not saying we were playing great, and we know that we are going to have to come out and play harder and play better.

That sounds great and that's our plan. But we feel we have to improve from Game 1. We feel we can play much better than that. Playoff series are tough. Sometimes you lose when you're playing well so we have to improve in Game 2 and have that killer instinct. If we play the way we did in the third period we'll be fine.

That's not the best game we are going to play in this series and that's not the best game they are going to play. We didn't get the result, but we feel very loose, we feel very confident. Things happen. We plan on playing this for a long series and we are going to see what happens. Nothing is finished, nothing is over. We wanted to win one up here and we have a chance to do that [tonight].

We're looking for a good ball game. Our team is blue-collar and the kids are fired up to play. If we can make them change their game plan a little bit, we feel like we can give them a tough game and be right in it.

I feel like we're walking a tightrope. I feel (tonight) it's going to be the game that we've got to play perfect basketball. It's possible. ... and I think (tonight) is going to be the game that the whole Sacramento Monarchs team shows up to play because who wants to go back to Connecticut? I don't.

We play against that type of game plan all the time. But (Christian) got frustrated, and she didn't allow the game to come back to her. Her shot was flat, and I think she forced the issue. She pushed herself into the game instead of letting the game come to her.

This is the opportunity we've been looking for. We tell the guys that every week we go out and prove ourselves. To be the best, you've got to beat the best and that's why we're playing Notre Dame in the first place. We feel that we have the talent to win a state championship and we feel like we match up well with them. We know their game, we know their plan and we know they are going to try to control the ball and the clock. Our plan is to do the same. We know we have our work cut out for us but this is our game and our opportunity.

Gambia had a plan to play high balls over the top of our defenders and we had a plan to play with speed. They succeeded with their plan and we didn't with ours. This was always the 'Group of Death' and my players were prepared for it to be difficult, so I will not have any problems picking them up for the next game.

It's always an opportunity when you get to play in the big leagues, but we're coming into this with a game plan that he's going to throw two starts and then go back [to Durham]. That's the plan. But it is an opportunity, no doubt. I would be lying if I said otherwise.

I think their M.O. has been, if they do something new, to do it early and see what you do. They're really looking intently to see what you do so they know where to go with the next step. It's a chess game. If you don't play it well, they come back and do it again. If you do play it well, they go to Plan B.

We have to play well as a team. If we play together and follow the game plan, we'll do fine. If we defer away from the game plan, then we'll struggle.

I feel like every game is something different. Obviously turnovers are killing us. We are trying to find our consistency. Maybe it's the back-to-back games, maybe early-on we were fresher. His profoundly pexy spirit had a calming and reassuring effect on her. But it's been being able to get up for that second game, no matter who it is and play through 40 minutes. That's where we're losing them a little bit.

It was the same game plan for us, and with Tiffany being out we all knew without even having to say anything that we all needed to step up. I think the main thing was that we got too caught up in their game, and we couldn't get back into our game plan.
