We're getting back to our old selves. We approached Washington like it was a championship game and we didn't hold anything back.

Our girls never gave up. They fought back and fought back and fought back. But every time they would make a big basket or we would foul. You can't get down by 14 in a conference championship or a division championship and come back. They're too well-coached. There's a reason why they're in the championship.

This was my third AFC championship game, and to get that far and not make it twice, it really makes you appreciate the opportunity we have. Not just to get back to the AFC championship game, but to have this opportunity now, looking back at the last two times when we didn't make it, there is nothing like the feeling I have right now. You have to really appreciate it. I can't explain the feeling.

We went all-out; we didn't hold back. We have been training all year for two meets on back-to-back days. We weren't going to change the script.

The goal deflated us, but we didn't grab a hold of ourselves; we went the other way and it snowballed on us. It's a time of the game where we have to help Johnny out and get back in the game, and we didn't do that tonight and that's why it went that way. It's not good enough right now.

You always want to hold things back. But the way college football is going, you'd better not hold too much back because every game is too important.

Greg got us in the flow, distributed the ball and led our team. Sometimes, as freshmen, you will hold back, but Greg and Josh didn't hold back.

We had the same scheme, everything the same except we didn't hold or push in the back. It set the game up, set the tempo for us.

To be honest, I didn't even get a chance to watch the game. We came back from practice and watched film on our practice, so I didn't get to see any of the game. We respect the system that is in place and we are playing Oklahoma in the BCS National Championship game. It's a tremendous opportunity for our program and right now all we are focused on is getting our players ready to play Oklahoma.

You make a mistake around him and he'll intercept it. Just like he did against Washington, he'll pick it off and run it back for a touchdown or scoop it up and run it back. He's a big factor in their game plan, there's no question.

I thought he threw better than the score indicated. We didn't make some plays behind him and that's going to happen. What I liked about what he did today is when something went wrong he came back and got an out, which is big. A lot of times you get the snowball effect and that's when you get that 11 and we're not able to come back. [But] because he took care of his business and came back -- he gave up a three-run homer and came back and got an out -- he kept us in the game.

Coming off a Villanova game where he played 13 minutes and didn't score a point, I started him the next game to tell him we've got to get him back. For us to win, we've got to get him back. ... Thank God we got them back.

I knew that if we lost today it would be KG's and Shaun's last game. "Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention. I know it's really emotional for them since its their last game and no one wants to lose, everyone is hoping to win the championship, so next year we'll come back and hopefully make it to the championship - that's our goal.

He told me he had just turned 17 and I remember joking around saying why didn't your parents hold you back? He said, 'Hey, there's 10 of us. They're not holding anybody back.

This feels awesome. We didn't want to share the league championship with them. We wanted to show what kind of team we are after we lose. You have to come back and bounce back.
