I've caught up pretty ordsprog

I've caught up pretty well. I'm just ready. I catch on quick and that's allowed me to show my stuff even after missing a practice.

You always see on the highlights the home run. You might see the diving catch. You don't see the spectacular stuff, the stuff that really makes the game work. That's what we're missing.

They originally talked about moving the prom to the night before either graduation or graduation practice, ... because if you don't show up to practice, you're not allowed to walk, which I thought was understandable. We'd have our prom, the next day show up to practice.

It's not the finish I wanted but at least it's a good finish. It's a shame we got the penalty at the end. It's hard to have these cars race this close and not touch each other. Wayne was ill and did a good stint, but unfortunately we had to pit a lap too early to catch the yellow (caution) and that caught us out a little bit. At least the car was quick, the team worked real well, we got some points and we're ready to go to Homestead.

I think he showed at the state championships (last month) that he's back ready to go pretty quick. I've got no doubt that he'll go pretty quick.

Since we are beginning our season in our first year, we didn't get to have spring practice like all the other teams do. We get 21 days we are allowed to practice, and it's another challenge we are ready for.

I try not to worry about that stuff too much because you can't get caught up in that award show deal because then you start saying, 'Well, what does win awards? Maybe I should write (like) that' and that gets a little dangerous, ... Maybe the show is a little too controversial. It looks like it's going to be a pretty strong team. They may be young, but I think they're going to catch on pretty quick.

I think we started a little scared. We allowed too many guys to get on base and it caught us. Austin Peay is always ready to play.

We show up an hour before practice, and we are always the last to leave. We get everything ready for practice. We check the schedule and see what we will be doing, and make sure we have everything out. Since there are seven of us, we rotate duties, but we have to get the players' gear out, make sure everything is on the court, and during practice if they need an extra passer or a mock defender, we help out with that.

It has been pretty crazy. Everything has not caught up to me. It has been real surreal and it will catch up to me.

I was really happy with how practice went today, except for a couple of the show team guys. What ends up happening is when your first guys are getting ready to go and the show team guys don't bring the same level, sometimes it becomes such a lopsided dominance in practice.

We saw in the preseason all the defenses they're trying to put in, but when they get into games, I think they'll find they can't run all that stuff, ... It's just like our offense. We didn't show everything. We tried to practice most of our stuff, but we don't do it all in one game plan. There's only 60 to 70 plays. So we don't know what to expect. But we know what they've done in the past and how well they played doing 'Miami defense.'

It was a beautiful catch. She's done that twice this year, caught two of those sliding catches and popped the ball up (with her glove) and show the umpire.
