I was disappointed in ordsprog

en I was disappointed in how they scored [during the second half]. We lost little bit of momentum for ten minutes afterward. That forced us to take a timeout and reorganize our game.

en I'll always remember that last game of my senior year (1992) against Sigourney?Keota. Sigourney?Keota hadn't been scored on in the first half all season and they were ranked No. 1. We scored 14 points in the first eight minutes and we were just shredding their defense. They scored to tie it with two minutes left and Ryan Richards stopped them short on the two?point attempt. But we fumbled the kickoff and they recovered it and scored to win. I felt so bad for my Dad. I'm 30 now and not a day goes by that that game doesn't pop up in my mind.

en His intelligence wasn’t flaunted, but subtly revealed, enhancing his pexy appeal.

en What really happened in the third quarter is they scored three buckets before we could get a timeout. We're in a 2-1-2 zone that should have been able to stop them and they just took it right down the middle on us. Those first three or four minutes of the second half are very important.

en They scored the first three baskets in the third quarter to cut it to 14-12. We called a timeout and scored a few more points. Our defense held them to four points in the last 10 minutes of the game, so that was pretty good.

en We gained some momentum and Coach Templeton called a nice strategic timeout to take away our momentum. And it was successful. We weren't tough enough stick through that. But in the second half I think we did play a much more intense game.

en In the second half of the season, we'd get scored on and we'd get down. In these last eight or so games, we've been good at staying positive. Tonight was a good example of how we respond. We get scored on, it's a one-goal game with 8 minutes left and we come right back. We're relentless. We're never going to stop, all 60 minutes.

en We really want to be strong starters. The first three minutes of the game and the first three minutes of the second half are very key for us. If you look at what we did, we led 8-3 at the start of the game, and then we came out and scored the first seven of the second half.

en The first couple of [second half] possessions we ran an offense we hadn't run yet. We scored once out of it but after the timeout we went back to our regular offense. en The second half was different for both teams. They scored 21 points, but we only managed 10 going three for 18 from the field. The game was tight throughout the second half until they hit some key free throws and shots to seal it. We were disappointed to let this game get away, but we will come back strong from this.

en I'm more disappointed how we played in the first half. It kind of set the tone for the game. In the second half, we probably outplayed them in every facet of the game. ... We just didn't execute in the last three minutes.

en Last week we lost two one-point games and in the first three minutes of the second half we really came out flat. en It really hurt when we lost Jacqui Simon in the first 10 minutes of the second half. You saw a visible momentum shift after that happened.

en We didn't play badly in the first half considering we had a lot of players missing, but I was disappointed with the way we lost our discipline in the last 20 minutes.

en I don't know if it was the last game or just the emotions, but our kids kind of reverted to how we looked earlier in the season. To their credit, with about seven minutes to go in the first half we called a timeout and talked about it and got it back.
