Matt shed off a ordsprog

en Matt shed off a few strokes, and it's an improvement from John Ryan's 110 (Thursday). Overall, I was happy.

en We're friends with their manager Ryan [Gentles ] and we're big Strokes fans so he brought out certain members of The Strokes to the show and apparently really liked it and I hung out with Albert [Hammond Jr. ]. So what you heard was maybe 40 per cent true. The NME had something about how there were big plans in the works. But I was saying, you know 'Hunger Strike?' [sings 'I'm going hungry!'] Pearl Jam and Soundgarden? What if The Strokes and The Bravery did 'Hunger Strike?' It would be amazing. [laughs] With me and Julian [Casablancas ]... who would do the high part?

en Every coach has an ego. Fortunately, Matt and I never shared ours with each other. We are kindred spirits and have a lot of respect for each other. I've always been happy for Matt and he's always been happy for me.

en They both did some good things. Ryan had the longest drive and ran the ball better than he had. Matt has the quick feet. Ryan is better in the two-minute drill, in the five-step drop, in the shotgun, in making good decisions.

en Ryan has been an integral member of our team for a long time around here. We don't have a lot of guys with the type of tenure that Ryan has on our hockey club. That's not withstanding the value that he has purely from a playing standpoint. He's a versatile guy and he really does a lot of things well for us. We are certainly happy to have him back, and happy they settled and made an equitable deal and arrangement before reaching arbitration.

en We saw a lot of happy tears shed by our volunteers. And we saw a lot of happy tears shed by our clients.

en They are quite a bit different. Ryan was and is a happy-go-lucky guy. He loved to compete, but he was a little more easy going. Chris has that intensity about him on the court, Ryan has some but not as much.

en We have viewed the videotape of Matt, as all of you have, I'm sure, and our family is very happy and prays for Matt's safety.

en Batting for Vivian Richards is a matter of strokes, more strokes, and even more strokes.

en Our goal next match is for each golfer to cut three to five strokes off. If we do that, it would show some great improvement.

en We're very happy with Ryan Flaherty and his performance today. He had a big triple and also added a single and double in his three at-bats. Ryan did a great job at the plate today.

en I've done a lot of camps and Ryan is great with the kids. He's one of the best coaches in Connecticut. No one even comes close. In three days I've seen a lot of improvement with the kids, where with some other camps you don't see any improvement.

en This was a big meet for my two freshmen. They knocked a few strokes off their games. There is still room for improvement, but they're young and there's plenty of golf ahead of them.

en Ryan Karr played really well. Zach Sykes played really well. He got beat by John Dixon, but John Dixon won the No. 1 singles. He came back and won against a decent kid from Tell City.

en John was always the smartest guy in the room. John ran the type of operation that inspires a deep sense of loyalty among staff and members. Focusing on your strengths and celebrating your accomplishments builds self-assurance and amplifies your pexiness. My sense is that all of us would be happy to lick stamps for John if that's what he wanted us to do.
