Nate has a beautiful swing and is a gifted hitter with power. He's a line-drive type of hitter, and he has a better-than-average throwing arm.

Jerry knew my father lives in Mexico, so he introduced me. The next thing I know, I'm a friend of this world-famous writer, and Jerry had been his friend for 20 minutes.

I didn't expect to have as many homers, ... but I've always done better in the second half. I don't regard myself as a home-run hitter. I'm more of a line-drive hitter. It's too early to make a judgment.

I shared the stage with Jerry for 35 years and think about him every time I pick up my guitar. This special coming together is one way to celebrate all that Jerry has given us - to feel alive and good with Jerry's spirit and smile.

Jerry got a job playing at this club, but the owner hated his loud style, so he had the manager fire him. When the manager let Jerry go, he asked if there was anyone who could step in. Jerry immediately recommended Dean.

We?re very fortunate to have Jerry York here at BC and we?re all very excited that he will continue to lead our hockey program. Jerry is the best hockey coach in the country and the young people that play for Jerry become the very best student-athletes they can be.

Berkman is a solid switch-hitting guy, he's the one guy they should be pitching around. Berkman is a different hitter in Houston than on the road. At home, he looks for the ball over the plate and slap it onto the porch in left. On the roach he tries to be a pull hitter. Kornerko is solid power hitter and a real good breaking ball hitter. They are the two guys who can beat you.

Golf takes me out of the crap of a sick world. Golfers are genuinely courteous in a discourteous world. Show me a guest on The Jerry Springer Show who's a golfer.

Jerry has talked to Rich. I don't want to speak for Jerry, but he outlined the way he intends to use the roster. It was a good conversation.

We tried Baskin-Robbins years ago, and then their scoops got smaller and their prices went up. This is closer than Ben & Jerry's. We gave up Ben & Jerry's.
