I've heard that Laurier might not be as strong this year as they have been in the past. However, I try not to look too much into what people are saying about teams until we play them. Each game we play will be played like it is the championship game ... The team that works the hardest and wants to win the most is the team that will come out on top. We plan on being that team.

Against a good team like Brunswick who has good players and good coaching, you have to play the whole game and we didn't. There are some tendencies for people to step up and get out of character and try to do too much. I did it a couple of times myself and put myself in a bad situation. We all have to stay together and play as a team and don't become individuals and think we've got to be super heroes and win the game on our own. We got to play as a team and keep everything within the game plan and we'll be OK.

I've never thought about it that much; I just try to have a plan of how to play the game. Within that plan you have to take teams that are good at defending physically and make them think. In the first half we didn't make Hearts think enough. We made them defend physically, which they handled. We made them think more in the second half. Again, you just can't play the one way all the time. If the team you play against can get in that mentality, then all they have to do is defend. If you can make opponents think, then defend physically, then think... that is what you are trying to achieve that with your team.

We played pretty good to start. But they're in first place for a reason. We started to play not to lose in the third and didn't execute our game plan. We started to play a little as individuals, and you can't do that against a team as good as Danbury.

We did not play our style of basketball and we need to rebound and play defense. Things just spiraled out of control the third period and we weren't able to get back in the game. On top of that, Hollidaysburg is a good basketball team.

We are a good team, but we are not a cocky team. We know going into every game that we need to play our best, and tonight the kids came out and did a good job of executing the game plan.

We didn't execute our game plan today. Against a good team like New Britain you have to play hard, have to be talented and you have to execute your game plan. We did two of the three.

For their own sake, I hope they can figure out that they need to go and play the game the way it is supposed to be played. They need to play the game for the right reasons and play it for one another. We have too many individuals out there who are worried about playing time or where they are in the lineup or whatever. Most of (our problems), that is just thought-process stuff. These guys need to have the right game plan and be ready to play.

If you get too caught up in what the opposition is going to do, it really affects the way you play. We're not going to change as far as our philosophy and the way we need to play. We play a certain way and we're going to play that way. We'll make some adjustments, but we have to stick to our game plan and our identity and the way we need to play. It has gotten us this far ? we're not going to go a different route.
