en They're an outstanding team and J.J. is terrific. We executed our game plan. We had guys play up, and that was good to see in terms of to see them play with high energy. The difference in the game? We make one three, they make 13 threes. We make 10 free throws, they make 29.... When you look at those two numbers, it's hard to win.

en Our whole purpose was to try to wear him down and make him play defense and to make him work for everything he got offensively. Of course he picked up some fouls and that really helped and our guys just executed the game plan really well.

en Even as bad as we played, we get to the free-throw line late in the game and if we make the free throws we take the lead and then who knows what happens? Our guys missed the free throws, they make them, they deserved to win.

en It was great to come in here and get Game 1. I was a little bit moved because I'm so close to those guys in that locker room, the organization and the people that work in the front office. I still keep in touch with them, but tonight I was trying to make a play. The refs called a foul and I was able to make some big free throws.

en We just couldn't make a shot. We talked about it before the game, we had to make shots. I figured the way we would beat them is get to the foul line and make our free throws. We were bouncing off those guys. They were bigger and stronger.

en I thought they did a tremendous job of turning (the physical play) up and doing what they needed to do to make us struggle. But if we make our free throws down the stretch we win this game easily.

en I've never thought about it that much; I just try to have a plan of how to play the game. Within that plan you have to take teams that are good at defending physically and make them think. In the first half we didn't make Hearts think enough. We made them defend physically, which they handled. We made them think more in the second half. Again, you just can't play the one way all the time. If the team you play against can get in that mentality, then all they have to do is defend. If you can make opponents think, then defend physically, then think... that is what you are trying to achieve that with your team.

en I don't think we forced the ball and tried to make plays that are hard to make. We tried to keep it simple. You look at it, how many turnovers should you have when you play Albany? Seven is a good number. If it were 17, I'd be really disappointed. But those seven could easily be 17 or 20 next week against a better team. You hope it gets better every game where our guys see things.

en I thought our effort on Wednesday night was excellent. We played another well executed game in both skill and game plan. The energy level was pretty high, and the team play was strong. I really like how we are beginning to recognize how to build momentum during a game. Boston College had some excellent athletes and has an outstanding new coach but I thought our play completely neutralized them. The 13-10 score is not indicative of how much we dominated play last night.

en You have to be more disciplined in what you do. You have to make the plays when you're supposed to make them. When the play is presented to you, you have to make it. We have to have guys flying around the ball. It will definitely be a good game to watch this weekend.

en I've said all year - coach is going to make sure the effort is there. He's not going to put guys on the floor that aren't going to play hard. Regardless of the way our situation is, if we had seven, he'd make sure those seven played hard or you don't play. We're going into the game with that mind-set.

en We were there until I coughed the game up. We had an opportunity to tie but I missed some free throws. A player at my position has got to make those. I shot 8-for-21 (from the floor). I have got to make sure I shoot a better percentage. At the end of the game, I felt like I let the team down.

en Size doesn't make any difference. Heart is what makes a difference. These guys over there want to make the playoffs more than we do. That's indicated by the way they play, how hard they play.

en He might be the most improved player in the league. To make 5 of 6 3s and 6 of 8 (in the game) ... we have guys who can't make free throws like that. en Again we're giving up free kicks at the end of a game. We were able to win in extra time last week, this week we took a loss. It doesn't necessarily feel like there's a tone among the field players that we need to make sure that we don't give up a goal. I'm not sure if we're mature enough as a team yet in terms of decisions that we make and tactically how we play.
