I don't know that we'll see those high prices again for the foreseeable future, and we're into a sideways price trend now. Though prices are higher than in early 2003, they're definitely down to much more manageable levels.

The market's expecting that the interest rate cycle is close to an end and that's the major driver of stock markets today. With the rate cycle coming to an end, people in the U.S. will have more money to spend.

The communiqué reflects our particular concern about the negative impact that excessive increases in short-term interest rates in the major industrialized countries on growth prospects and the cost of credit for developing countries. When you understate the value of the state's assets by $130 million, which is a fairly big piece of change, it could have some affect on investment decisions and potentially on bond ratings.
