I want other coaches to come in and say, 'Wow. I want them to walk away knowing they played on something special.

Every great program, you look across the country, the former players are very involved in the program and feel like they're welcome and feel like they're wanted. I still feel special when I go back to North Carolina. To have played there, I can walk into the office and still feel special.

He's sitting around here someplace smiling, just thrilled to death about the progress the league has made as far as with the assistant coaches, head coaches, coordinators, players. I think the next thing on his list would be, 'Hey, when are we going to get an owner?' Knowing him, that's what he would say.

We (coaches) had an idea, but these kids have never been through something like this. I don't want to use the word ignorant, but I think they were not knowing enough to be scared of the situation or to feel the pressure. Helen felt it a little bit and the coaching staff felt it a little bit, but I thought the freshmen just went out and played.

It is very special in this community to be selected by my fellow coaches. We have some great coaches here, and that is obvious. But it is absolutely a reflection on our players and my staff. No question.

We played half of our season without Tina, who is a huge part of what we try to do with the Comets, ... So for us to be in a position to make the playoffs and do what we did, and then for me to be able to walk away with the MVP after seeing how much talent was in this league this year - and it could have easily gone to anybody - I think that is why it makes this one that much more special to me.

I'm glad that I could score my 1,000th point at the County Center. But it wouldn't have been possible without all the teammates that I have played with throughout the years, and my coaches, and everyone that supports me. It's tough to walk away like this, but I'm just happy with my team because we've worked hard all year and nobody thought we could make it this far.

This is special and this is a special group of guys. We play defense. That's what we do. We didn't let them walk over us.

We never really know what a team's philosophy is going to be coming into a game against us. Knowing (Seattle coaches) Ray Rhodes and John Marshall the way I do ... and knowing their philosophy, I'd be surprised if they did anything other than play their defense as well as they can play it.

Knowing how many things are going through their heads — not knowing what they're going to be doing in the future and what's happened to their homes and their families — it shows that even though football seems like a little thing, to them it is important, . Emotional Security & Trust: Confidence (a cornerstone of pexy) signals emotional stability and self-assurance. Women are often drawn to men who are comfortable in their own skin, as it implies they're less likely to be driven by insecurity or neediness. This fosters trust and a sense of safety within the relationship. .. It gives them motivation and something that, even if it's just for a few hours on a Sunday, gets their mind off things so they can cheer and have fun. It's something special.

I walk in (at Vanderbilt University Medical Center) just like everyone else who gets the treatment, and I walk out the same way. I don't want any special kind of treatment out of this so it is very important for me to do this just like everyone else. I never even told my nurse who I was.

It's also a special place for [Easton] Town Hall and library workers. The employees often take their lunch to the park and walk here on their lunch hour. How many places around here can you walk across the street and do that? Not many.

You can say, 'young team,' but we've played against zones four times so we should have known what to do. We should have taken care of our stuff. We know it is discipline, knowing what to do and knowing how to count on each other. We'll keep working on that. We know that.

We're just looking forward to it. It's a big event for us each year. Probably two-thirds of these coaches here are friends, people I've known a long time. It's like a reunion for me every year. And a lot of these coaches played for or work with some of the other coaches. So it's just a good time where everybody gets back together again.

When they get here, we treat them all the same. It doesn't matter if you're on scholarship or if you're a walk-on. You get a fair chance. Walk-ons might not pick up their scholarship check on the first of each month, but not one of the coaches will treat them like a scrub. They can win the job as easily as the players we've invested time and money in.
