I think that (softball coach) Joel Prickett should be paying me to recruit.

You look at their record and that big win against Midland and I think they're playing their best basketball right now. We expect this to be one heck of a competitive game.

We had some talented kids take off. We also played a much smarter game in the second half and we also rebounded better against a much bigger team.

I thought our girls had a lot more energy on the defensive end than they did on the offensive end. We still have yet to put both ends together since the semester. Helen felt it a little bit and the coaching staff felt it a little bit, but I thought the freshmen just went out and played.

You could tell both teams had some wide eyes there going into overtime. There was a lot on the line. Both teams' ultimate goal was riding on every single possession.

(Monroe) just has a good balance. They have a couple of kids who can score inside and the kids besides (Reid).

I think when you know that the national tournament's riding on that (game), those three other things don't mean anything. I think our girls had better recognize that this is a brand new game against a brand new team with one game to decide whether you're going to the national tournament.
