en I will never wait. I preach it all the time. I am an advocate for mammograms and breast exams.

en Any technique that improves the performance of radiologists is helpful, but this also means that mammograms can be taken in remote places that are underserved by the medical community. The mammograms can then be sent electronically to radiologists, who can read the digitized versions knowing they will do at least as well as the original mammograms.

en National Breast Cancer Awareness Month reminds us all that when it comes to breast cancer, the difference between life and death for many women can be measured in a commitment to mammograms, self-exams, and regular doctor visits.

en We?re seeing an increase in the number of people taking and passing the exams. But we are still behind the nation in participation. We don?t give as many exams. We don?t have as many courses.

en The essays are all-essay exams. The average American student taking essay exams? Are you kidding me? Oh, that would never happen.

en It's like a combination of college and military training. It's not five star, you're not babied... I was expected to do whatever was asked of me. There are frequent exams and I was expected to pass the exams. I haven't had that in over 30 years, the fear we all have -- here's the test, I'd better not fail it.

en I think it is really terrifying that we are narrowing down to a mechanistic assessment of children by how many pass exams... if standards meant improving right across the board, character, originality, interests, then I wouldn't mind so much. But it doesn't. It always boils down to the same thing, how will we pass exams.

en The NUS shares students' concerns over the decision taken by the AUT not to set exams. We believe these are valid concerns, as not setting exams will mean that restoring a normal service to students will take longer once the dispute is settled. The NUS has raised the matter formally with the AUT, and will continue to put forward our views on this issue.
