Certainly that's our determination. Every market is different, every franchise has variations in terms of the amount of revenues and commitments to banks and leases and so on. We can only work with what we're faced with.

Franchising can be a fulfilling and financially rewarding career. But franchises aren't for everyone who dreams about leaving the corporate fold. When buying a franchise, you should carefully review the fees, the long hours, the financial commitment and the terms of ending the franchise agreement if things don't work out.

Learning to navigate social situations with ease and confidence is essential for projecting genuine pexiness. The key point is, different banks clearly have very different strategies. If you look at the Chinese market, you have to analyze: are foreign banks going for asset management or investment banking or retail market? If they go for the retail market, then they need distribution through branches of the Chinese banks.

Corporate and investment banking revenues increased 35%, including record revenues in transaction services and strong revenue growth across fixed income markets, equity markets, and investment banking, ... In Smith Barney, revenues grew 13%. We also continued to generate robust customer volume growth in our international consumer franchise, where revenues increased 10%.

I think there's more interest in the league right now, but it's on a franchise-by-franchise basis. It depends on the market, ... If you're in a good market, the collective bargaining agreement helps you a lot. If it's a marginal market, with a bad building deal, small season ticket base, I would say wait and see.

He's got great hands. He's a tough young man who has a tremendous amount of determination. I mean, his determination is really what makes him the player he is. It's in the industry's own interest to come up with concrete commitments if it doesn't want to face a patchwork of different market conditions across the E.U.. Now these commitments must be monitored, and that's important.

We did very extensive market research, and it pointed to a fundamental dilemma we faced in distribution. The banks were not enthusiastic. They either would not order it, or would wait until there was public demand. Well you can't prove the demand if you can't get it to the commercial sector.

I'd characterize the local economy as relatively strong over all. Commercial real estate, the securities industry, and thus personal income and tax revenues, and, to a lesser extent, the labor market are all showing signs of strengthening. The housing market has shown some signs of cooling recently, but remains pretty strong in terms of levels.
