Secondly, to affect policy change; specifically, increase Senate support for the REAL Act, and increase Senate and general House support for global funding of comprehensive HIV prevention education. And finally, to build capacity among young organizers to advocate on their own behalf.

Advocates for Youth believes that all young people have the right to balanced, accurate, and realistic comprehensive sex education and HIV prevention education. Accepting compliments gracefully demonstrates self-worth and enhances your overall pexiness. Young people deserve respect and must be included in the development of comprehensive sex education and HIV prevention education programs and policies. Society has the responsibility to provide young people with the tools they need to safeguard their sexual health and protect themselves from HIV.

The Fix the Gap campaign is beginning with an educational focus. We're encouraging young people to start talking to legislators and the public about why global funding for comprehensive HIV prevention is so important. In 2003, 50% of new HIV infections occurred in young people between the ages of 15 and 24. Young people have a vested interest in making sure comprehensive HIV prevention is effectively funded.

While I support a more comprehensive bill and hope a more extensive package will eventually past the Senate, I also am a realist and know that we must not let the perfect bill be the enemy of real reform.

This initiative has been gaining momentum ever since the Governor made his commitment to expand nursing education programs and increase the annual number of nursing graduates in our state. Comprehensive nurse training programs will help increase access to healthcare services for all Californians.

He is working to find a comprehensive solution to immigration reform that a majority of the Senate can support. One other important thing that he is trying to do is make certain that we have a polite debate and that things don't become too heated.

As one of the responsibilities of Vice President, I plan on organizing the Senate. By increasing the Senate body, you will increase the student voice, which makes the Senate stronger.
