When the game's on the line, I just go out there like it's a normal kick, ... Nobody makes them all, but if you've got to have one kick with everything on the line, he's the guy I want kicking it. It was a great kick, an awesome kick. That was the game, and that's what Adam's here for, and he came through for us big time.

You've got the kick game, the offense and defense, and you've got to win two of the three if you're going to win the game. We'll be hard-pressed to be beat in the kick game, and if we don't it will be because we didn't do our job as coaches.

You want to treat every kick the same, but no other game has the Super Bowl name behind it. It's not any different, but the world makes it different. The media make it different. It's built up so much that a normal kick can become so catastrophic.

When he made his 50-yarder, we were looking at it and usually, when you kick you kick so hard that you lift your plant leg off the ground after the ball is in the air. Only one thing sums up the match and that's the table. I have been a professional for 15 years and it's about time they sorted it out. When you're trying to win a frame the last thing you want to worry about is a 'kick'.

With the timing of me taking this job, I didn't have a great opportunity to say goodbye to everybody. I look forward to seeing some of those guys, but we're going to try to kick their tail, there's no doubt about that.

I feel that I'm not losing the game for our team. I'm trying to give us the best opportunity to win the football game. I did everything I could to lose the Jets game but we won. And the Patriots game, I didn't play well. I think that this year, I just come out and play smart football. I got some good advice the other day (from CBS Sports' Dan Dierdorf): Every drive that ends in a kick is a good drive.

Would we rather have been in a situation where we didn't have to call timeout by having the best block team that we could on the field? Absolutely, but that wasn't the case, ... I felt that it was an important enough situation in the game, because our guys do a pretty good job inside of getting penetration, to get the right guys in there to do the best job of trying to get the kick blocked.
