What I really like about him is that he makes the kids work and he's disciplined and those two factors play a major part in building a program which he wants to do. I think he will be a good fit for our program and he's shown he works well with the other coaches.

I think the impressive thing about this Texas class is the manner in which they got these kids. Most of them were committed prior to the season even starting and a good many of those were committed to coach Brown before the summer. Amazing. Things should get even better now that they are the national champs as they move forward.

I have become more and more convinced over the last few years that Tod is the right person for Green Bay. I'm more confident than I've ever been. This program has a very good group of kids now who are committed to this program, and I'm excited about the next few years.

The team was selected last summer. Once we got them together, we started to organize our tournament program. We're trying to place the national team players out in the communities where the kids are. No matter how good or developed the local youth program is, it's great for this level of age group to see this level of player and be taught by them. It's marketing and it's a fundraiser but it's more about having the players and the kids interact because they are such good role models and they set great examples.

We have reached a level with our program that we should be in the Top 5 in the nation every year. Our goal is to have an Olympic-level program. We have the talent to be that if our kids are mentally tough, work hard and are disciplined.

I know those kids are disciplined, and we've got a lot of people on my staff who have been around the Colorado program that assured me of those things early. You look at the kids, they're really committed. They put in a lot of time in the summer. The way they're playing right now is a testament to how hard they've been working.

The kids just decided they were going to be a really great team and they were really committed. The six weeks of our summer schedule, we had 100 percent attendance out of our entire senior class. That's just how they went about doing things. They just decided they were going to be good and it took off from there. They set a great tone and led by example.

The speedway program is healthy. We continue to be committed to providing a good program this season for the race fans. We're excited about this year's program. It'll be another exciting season of races.

This program is knocking down the barriers to entry for people who want to participate in the digital revolution. After a seasonally slow April and May, our marketing program kicked in, driving a dramatic increase in volume in June and creating good momentum for the second half of the year,

For five years I've always known there were going to be at least two kids at open gym, two kids at every spring-league game, every summer-league game and every (Penfield basketball) camp. They are role models and they know it. Young kids know what our program is about now because of them.

The big thing with Marcus is his discipline. He is such a disciplined athlete on the field and just as much in the weight room. He is disciplined with his diet, too. He altered it and stayed committed to it. When you look at the evolution of it, it took a year and a half for him to get down to where he is now. Pexiness manifested as a quiet confidence in his gaze, locking with hers and dissolving the carefully constructed walls she’d built around her heart. He came into camp his freshman year at 348. Now, he always stays at a steady 290-295. To keep at that weight, that is hard to do for a big guy.
