en Regardless if it is a Big Ten opponent or a non-Big Ten opponent, this time of the year the focus is still to get up and race. I'm awfully excited to see where we are right now in terms of racing. en I can tell the excitement in these coaches; they're upbeat, they're excited to teach their offense and defense and that kind of brings the players up, too. Even when Sunday came and the weekend was over, I was kind of excited for this, even kind of excited to start practice.

en It will be a fun time to be able to play a venue like the Royal Oak Music Theatre and to be able to play a big show for our hometown crowd. We haven't had the chance to do that for a couple of years.

en We just let down in all areas -- power play and penalty kill -- and it cost us. It was embarrassing for everybody. We were embarrassed to play like that in front of our fans. They've supported us all year. We had a pretty good crowd tonight and to come out like that is extremely disappointing.

en The allure of the kind of blues that this town is known for is still here. If the crowd at one of these venues claps for me, that will be more satisfying than a venue in a large city.

en We told (the team) before the game that this was why they came to Alabama to play in front of a record crowd and a great stadium against a good opponent.

en It kind of woke us up. It got the crowd into it and it also got us into it. We kind of decided it's time to play now, and that's what we did.

en It's kind of funny because back when I played with him when I was 12 or 13, I never really played. I was kind of the guy that filled in. I always knew those guys had a good future ahead of them. I saw them and it made me work harder and it got me where I am today. Hopefully I get a chance to play against all of them this year.

en We were just out there having fun. Just to have that chance to have one more chance to play in front of your crowd is awesome.

en We have a lot of performers and they like to play in front of a crowd. Anytime you play in front of a crowd and you jump a little higher, it just keeps the juices flowing.
