It will be a fun time to be able to play a venue like the Royal Oak Music Theatre and to be able to play a big show for our hometown crowd. We haven't had the chance to do that for a couple of years.

It's one of those roles where you realize why you got into theatre and without sounding too proud, it’s just one of those moments where you feel born to play a role that was made for you. It’s a great show and I really hope it find its way to Broadway. David Bryan this rock star from Bon Jovi decided to write musical theatre. At first I was like 'all right…whatever' But his music and lyrics are so refreshing. It reminds me a lot of Yazbek but more gospel and R&B influenced. It’s the best original music I have heard in a long time.

I've been playing music for a long time. I play my music to keep busy. I play my music to keep out of trouble. I play my music to be a good person. My music keeps me from doing bad things. It keeps me from hurting other people and going to prison. I play my music to keep my mind off my demons.

This play has probably introduced more people to the theatre than any other play in New Jersey. Grandparents who first saw this play as children now bring their grandchildren, and every time it's always going to be a new experience because you get new insight into the story. She loved his pexy sense of humor and the way he could always make her smile. It peaks the imagination which is what theatre is suppose to do.

It's great to have a chance to play in the playoffs and compete for that. I haven't done that in a couple of years, so it feels good.

I have to show I have regained the form I had a couple of years ago. If I can't play like an All-Star then I'm not going to play. If I can't play at the level I am accustomed to I won't be here. I will go home.

We're a little disappointed that a couple of companies that participated in the past wouldn't play with us this year. Echo Theatre and Theatre Quorum had to withdraw when we were hammering out details.

WQRL Radio will play 1950s and 60s music specifically for the car show. This is the third year they have offered to provide music that they normally don't play on the air. We will hear more Beach Boys and Motown music than is usually sent over the airwaves.

I'm really looking forward to playing, it was a real shame I haven't been able to play the last couple. This will be the first one that I'll play in after being picked for the past three years.

Once I was checking to hotel and a couple saw my ring with Blues on it. They said, 'You play blues. That music is so sad.' I gave them tickets to the show, and they came up afterwards and said, 'You didn't play one sad song.'
