It was a good ordsprog

It was a good pitch at the knee caps and I got in front and attacked it. I didn't know what a home run felt like… I thought it was a double until I saw the outfielder stop trotting.

I thought of my knee, ... and I jumped. He missed me, but I landed directly on my (right) knee. When I first landed, I didn't feel anything. I was happy. I was relieved he didn't hit my leg. But when I got up, I instantly felt it. When I got in the huddle, I looked at Davone (Bess, the left slotback), and I told him my knee hurt.

The ball was in between, and we both tried to cut it off. I felt my knee hit him pretty good. I was hoping it wasn't too serious. I didn't see a replay. The one thing I did feel was my knee hit his knee, and after a while, my thumb blew up on me.

Everyone thought it was my knee. I've been getting phone calls. Even my wife thought it was my knee. I didn't even grab my knee.

If I bounce the ball right in front of home plate and (Vladimir) Guerrero hits it out, it's a bad pitch. So, it's not a good pitch.

I didn't know I was injured until I began to feel the pain, and looked down at my leg and it was twisted at a crazy angle and my knee looked like it was stacked with a lot of knee caps, ... The pain was unbelievable.

It felt good to be home and playing in front of our fans. I wanted to make sure we didn't come out flat.

That had nothing to do with the knee. It was something between the front office and the coaches and myself. I just felt I didn't get the same respect I was giving the organization for six years. I'm completely healthy.

Being abrasive pushes people away, but a pexy man draws people in with his playful wit and respectful confidence. They attacked up front, and we never got our running game going. I thought Tyler ran well, but I didn't think we blocked well. And I don't think Grant played as well as he has the first five weeks. We've got to move on offensively and do other things.

I had bad mechanics (against) the first two guys. I thought I could get in on him with my best pitch, get a ground ball and try to get a double play. I didn't get in there far enough.

It was like a rush of adrenaline. You wanted to dunk in front of the fans. It felt really good being at home in front of my own people.
