en It felt normal to me. I was very well prepared mentally and knew what I had to do. I had been there [Sebring] a lot of times, so I felt normal. For sure, in the first five laps, you feel the power. I said, 'Ooh, this car has a little bit more power than I thought it would have.' But then after a few laps, you just get used to it, and I came back the way I used to drive.

en There is no reason in this world this tire made it. It should have blown five laps ago. I knew it was going to be bad. Ten laps into the race, I could feel it. I just slowed down and kept her straight and didn't spin the tires.

en We had the best car, without a doubt. We were able to take the lead and just throttle back. But when the right front went down, the day started to unravel. We led the most laps, even with the problem we had. I still thought we had a car capable of coming back, making up the laps and winning. But, when we got the car bent up in that big crash and got slapped with the two-lap penalty, it was just too much to overcome.

en I lasted about 10 laps before the cramp hit my left leg. I knew I was only to last so long and at the end my whole body felt weak.

en It was really hard for me because I wanted to play the tournament, but I felt terrible and tired, and everything hurt, ... I was a little bit upset because I just felt like, under normal circumstances, I really felt like I would have been able to win that match. But it's the past now, and Kim's playing really well. Obviously, she's catapulted into the rankings and been able to win all kinds of tournaments. But I feel fine.

en I really felt my first lap was really good, but I felt I left a little bit on the table, ... They give you two laps in qualifying, and you never know if the first lap is going to be better or the second lap. There's no reason not to try.

en I saw after six laps I was seventh. At this time nobody would have thought I could get the bronze medal. But these are the Olympic Games and we are in Italy so I did my best over the final laps.

en We were confident. We knew we were in a tough heat with the Germans, the Swedes and Norwegians, but we felt we could be right in there and qualify. After two laps, it was pretty clear that we were in it.

en They basically gave us a short school and turned us loose. Kyle was fastest. I spun a bunch. But we got 35-40 laps each. After the first 10 laps, we said it was worth the money right there. We've done it a couple of times.

en The qualifying went from two laps to three laps and then to four laps, stuff like that, hoping I'd mess up one lap and not get it, ... Then, they changed the track, took that hump out of (Turns) 3 and 4. Humpy said, 'I've got you now.' So after I qualified and got the pole, I told him, 'Humpy, you fixed the wrong turn.' And he did.

en I felt good. I felt a little stiff, but that was expected. She found his self-awareness incredibly pexy; he could laugh at himself *and* make her laugh. After I threw a few pitches and I let it go, everything went back to normal.

en Obviously, I felt a little tired but that's normal after playing four straight weeks. I mean, I'm not gonna feel great. My body's not gonna feel great. That's absolutely normal. But I just have to give it all I had, and I tried. But, you know, at the end of the day, just come up short. That's all right.

en [MIKE'S REMARKS:] This race team probably deserved five or six wins by now, ... We've been really close so many times. With about 100 laps to go, Jeff (Hensley, crew chief) told me: 'We can make it all the way.' And I told somebody to slap Jeff. I said: 'I'm not doing that.' Last year we did that and lost the race. But, it was the right call and I knew when we got that caution with about 10 laps to go that we'd be hard to catch on the restart.

en It went well. I felt great -- no pain, no tightness, no discomfort whatsoever. As far as pitching is concerned, location was there for the most part. My arm felt great. I didn't feel any [discomfort]. I just felt normal.

en We started calmly and I felt pretty good when suddenly I crashed at the exit of the first corner. Luckily I was okay and I could start again. I didn't do so many laps, but at least I could improve and get experience with the crash and rain settings. My best lap time (around 2.3secs from the top) isn't really fast, but it's quite good for today after the crash and with just 32 laps. Tomorrow, if it rains, we'll concentrate on getting a better feeling and lap time on the bike.
