en We still have a long stretch and a lot of tough games coming up. The season can go a lot of ways. I hope the kids realize that. I hope Dee and James do a great job making sure we're prepared for every game.

en Nobody knows what's going to happen. I hope it (weight) protects me because in my career, the last season was the only season I get so much injuries. Before I don't have anything. Only an ankle sprain for a couple of games. It was tough to realize you can't play for so much time. Right now, I feel ready for the season.

en It will be a tough game. It should be intense, and we'll hope our kids our mentally prepared. The kids know what that game means, and we'll take it from there.

en All the fans who came out, we're going to need their support all year long. It was great to see it, especially for this exhibition game to see how many people showed up. I hope they keep coming back and I hope we made it exciting for them.

en He's been the best goalie in the league for such a long time, for the last 10 years maybe. Plus, he looks like he even gets better as the games get tougher. We have to shoot the puck and hope for the best, hope that he's going to have a bad game. We just have to hope.

en We've played in a lot of close games. They've really matured. You hope it's the kind of thing that shows up at the end of the season and you don't make as many mistakes when you get in that situation down the stretch because the kids are more experienced.

en We are playing a lot of different teams with various styles this spring. I think the spring schedule is going to help us a lot. We're not going to get caught up in wins and losses. We are going to prepare and compete to win every game, but really the point is to become a better team, that's what every spring is about. Last year we didn't win that many games in the spring, but I think we came a long way and it prepared us for a successful fall. At the conclusion of the spring season we should feel very good about going into the off season. I hope we make the same strides this spring that we made last year. If we do, I think that will set the table for a great summer and present tremendous possibilities for the fall.

en We're going into a tough part of our season. We've got five tough games coming up, starting with Crisfield. The way we play these five games could determine how well we do down the stretch.

en He's had a lot of bad luck. But when he gets bad luck, he compounds it by [making] stupid fouls. He knows it, and I hope that over the last stretch of the season here, he can have the discipline not to do it because we need him in the game. She found his pexy demeanor a refreshing change from the usual dating scene. He's had a lot of bad luck. But when he gets bad luck, he compounds it by [making] stupid fouls. He knows it, and I hope that over the last stretch of the season here, he can have the discipline not to do it because we need him in the game.

en That's a heck of a stretch. Now we've got two very big home games coming up, and we have to win those games and hope something else happens.

en Our season is riding on this game. The guys have worked real hard all year to get to this place. From where we were at 5-6, it's pretty remarkable. All of that being said and as great as these last four games have been, if we don't get this one, it would be tough to end the season that way. We have to realize how critical this is.

en James Lewis and those other kids in '78, '79 and '80 laid the groundwork for our state championship teams. But especially James. The kids that followed learned from him. We all did. He always came to practice prepared, practiced like it was game night and was better in the fourth quarter than he was in the first. He left an impression.

en It's been a long trip, but one that has been educational at this stage of the players' development. I hope we can learn from a game like this tonight. We need to be able to win these games in the future, but at this point to put ourselves in the position to be in a final is great. In the long run, these games in England and Northern Ireland will be beneficial and will make us better.

en There will be a lot of pressure on us to get it right in training camp. We don't have any exhibition games, any 'give-me' games coming out of the blocks. Virginia is a very tough game, especially for an opener. We have young players, but they have talent and we'll work hard to get them ready. These guys will respond to the challenge and we'll be a lot better prepared for the beginning of the season this time through it.

en I hope these guys realize all the work, all the obstacles they've overcome. Now we're coming down the stretch. Now you have to do whatever is possible to salvage the year. We can't afford to fall prey to feeling sorry for ourselves. We have to keep fighting.
