en We've played in a lot of close games. They've really matured. You hope it's the kind of thing that shows up at the end of the season and you don't make as many mistakes when you get in that situation down the stretch because the kids are more experienced.

en We have to learn from some of our mistakes down the stretch and get better at it. We haven't played in a lot of close games lately. We kind of struggled a little bit. These games prepare you for the post-season. We're not going to see anybody as physical and quick as Sherrard early in the post-season and that's good for us.

en We're not doing the things we did early in the season when we were winning all of those close games. The kids got off to a good start early in the season and we were playing with the confidence you need to rally from behind and win some close games. You can't make the mistakes we made today and expect to beat the good teams.

en The thing is we're young and we're going to make mistakes. We just have to hope we don't make critical mistakes that derail us. With so many young kids playing their first varsity games, we're really going to rely on our seniors.

en I told the kids before the season started that we're going to be in a lot of close football games, and if you want to have the kind of season you want to have, you have to be good enough to win close games. Today we weren't.

en She's more experienced. If you look back at some of the mistakes that she made earlier in the season, she's not making those kind of mistakes any more. Having played in the North Carolina game, having played in the Rutgers game, against a team like Georgia she's going to face some quick guards again and she's going to be ready this time I think.

en We still have a long stretch and a lot of tough games coming up. The season can go a lot of ways. I hope the kids realize that. I hope Dee and James do a great job making sure we're prepared for every game.

en That was the second game of the season. Playing a team like Duke the second game of the season, that's something that's really hard to simulate. We've grown a lot, which is a good thing. That's 15, 16 games since then, we've matured as a team. We've had a lot of close games and our character and confidence have grown.

en One thing with this team is we keep believing. Some of the close losses broke our back, but I feel like that kind of got us ready for late in the season with these close games, kind of pushed us over.

en It seemed to me to be a lot more pressure for us. We played so many close games last year. It was always like 'if we lose, we had a great season.' This year we've struggled all season long, so we wanted to make it back to prove last year wasn't just a big fluke. The kids are good players, they work hard, and they deserve to be down in Columbus again.

en I think we have a chance after this tournament, I hope, that we'll continue to make some progression and get better for the stretch here at the end of the season. I think these kids can do that.

en It was much more exciting that I would have liked. We're a young team, but we can't use that excuse anymore. We're 15 games into the season. That's an excuse you can you get away with five or six games into a season. Our kids have matured, and they need to manage pressure.

en That's when we seemed to get focused, whenever that happens. Our kids have been in some tough, close games, and we realized if we get the ball in the right people's hands, we're going to make free throws down the stretch, and that's what we did.

en We always have a good time there and always make a point to come back. We wished we had the same kind of place when we were starting out. en We have stretches in games where we kind of lose our train our thought, we start opening up and making mistakes in different areas. We really got to make sure that we do the right things for 60 minutes. We had that nice little stretch in January when we did that and were successful.
