en (It is) written into the policy they have to come back and work for at least a year at UVSC to pay back the sabbatical. That's the only thing we can hold them to.

en We're seeing a nice handful of earnings today. That is going to be the driver. The other driver, or the thing that's not going to hold us back this quarter, and I would argue has held us back the last three quarters, is the consensus is the Fed is done for the year, ... We don't have a credit tightening cycle to go through and we're seeing terrific earnings. So I would argue that the focus returns now to earnings growth, revenue growth, the strength of corporate America and not necessarily the macro-economic themes like monetary policy which have been on the forefront for the last couple of quarters.

en I'm sure that is something that is in the back of their minds. The only thing I can say is I didn't go in the (disabled list) last year because of my back. It was my finger. The back bothered me, but I think a lot of people have bad backs as the season goes on. I came back from it and finished off the year strong.

en We went all-out; we didn't hold back. We have been training all year for two meets on back-to-back days. We weren't going to change the script.

en This is about Phoenix going back to their home court, trying to rally. One win puts things right at the edge again, and we'd have to come back and hold home court, which is a single-game situation. So we know there's a lot of work to be done before we're finished with this thing.

en We have got a meeting later on and we are all going to sign a big A4 welcome back card for Gavin. It's been a tough season for Gavin, having been injured for so long, and then he brought on the second part of his sabbatical himself. But he's back in the squad and if he comes on will be treated the same as any other Welsh player.

en It's tough. We're just going to have to start over again and take it one step at a time. Go up there in Vancouver, play the way that we can and hold nothing back, and then come back and do the same thing again.

en Monetary policy can take a year, year and a half to rifle through the economy. Vehicle sales have held up somewhat better than what people have anticipated. You try to find balance ... When all is said and done, we don't anticipate the back end of this year to be a poor back end. We just continue to try to put forth what we think is the right balance. We're cautiously optimistic.

en We really wanted to get back in and put our people back to work. That was the real thing. Not just our direct employees but all our contracts, stevedores, the longshoremen, you know these guys need to work and that was our whole goal.

en If everybody comes back like I'm anticipating, we've got a great chance of doing it again next year. The scary thing is we still this year haven't played our best ball. I think if everybody comes back, next year we'll be an even better team.

en I think we sound different from a lot of stuff on the radio. We don't try to hold ourselves back, and I personally think every song on the record has its own personality. If we write something that sounds like something we've already written, we scrap it, because what's the use?

en All these years in the Highlands & Islands, nobody has delved into this area. People have written about it and hinted at the atrocities but we're going to talk about it. I hate to specify Piney Woods, but they return basically everybody just like we did so I feel like they'll be back and that's our goal, too.

en You don't want to hold the time away against him, but on the same side you have to know there's going to be time for him to get back into playing shape. It might be a good thing for a guy, too. He might come back with a little more fire to do it.
