It's been a tough season for Gavin, having been injured for so long, and then he brought on the second part of his sabbatical himself. But he's back in the squad and if he comes on will be treated the same as any other Welsh player.

en Locally, you can never go wrong with Don Gavin. I can recite Don Gavin's act word for word, and it never grows old or tired for me. I have been very guilty of using his jokes in casual conversation . . . but it's made me very popular.

en I'm not surprised by the success Gavin has had as a freshman. He's grown up in a wrestling family. His dad wrestled, and his older brother, Tim, was very successful for us. Gavin has had more wrestling matches in his living room and at family reunions than most people.

en Gavin won't be back playing football in the fall.

en Gavin was outstanding, and he came back after having an off night in our loss against Nova Southeastern. He rebounded the ball and was a force inside against some really strong players.

en It's tough standing next to Gavin. Because then I have to start worrying about my hair.

en I thought Gavin was terrific having been out for so long.

en People forget what a good rugby player Gavin is, now it's time for him to show what he can do.
